Visited one evening with friends after reading reviews online, and I wasn't disappointed at all. The biryani for sure is the best in Bay area. The mandi reminded me of the mandi at Barkas area in Hyderabad and the chicken 65 and chicken Majestic that I order as take away for my room mate was also amazing.
The owners are friendly and open to suggestions, I happened to meet them. I would like them to open a bigger place, it seems popular and can get very busy so I think a bigger place might help.

Amazing Food with authentic hyderabadi flavors. I had best mutton biryani after i left hyderabad 2 yrs ago. Majestic chicken was incredibly tasty. The 1st bite literally sent me bk to hyderabad. We in our family r super foodies...n we cook v well so we literally know the authentic taste which Chowrasta provided. We enjoyed the dinner very much Will come back soon to try diff items The chicken sticks were too good too. My children loved the chicken 65 I wish n hope they stay consistent in the taste. Mutton biryani had the most tender goat meat ever with incredibly tasty bone marrows .i got lucky to have it 2 times in my portion. Cant stop appreciating the food. Definitely a 12/10😍

Chowrasta is a gem in Fremont. The dishes feel rooted in Hyderabad’s heritage yet have a unique twist that makes every bite stand out. You can tell some of the recipes come straight from family traditions, and that depth of flavor really shows. Fantastic food, warm service, and a place I’m definitely coming back to.

We had a bad experience during and after the food from this restaurant. After reading positive reviews we were excited to have authentic Hyderabadi biriyani and some other dishes. Some of the issues we have experienced during this visit. 1. Butter chicken had a lot of color. We could feel the taste of color. 2. We did dine in but still the food came in plastic container which is unhealthy and adding more plastic waste. 3. Chicken dum biriyani had too much of garam masala which overrides all other taste. 4. My wife got stomach upset and got migraine after having the food which underscores how unhealthy the food was. 5. Majestic chicken was too oily and we took only the top part and left the oiled part floating in the bottom of the plastic container.

We recently visited here, and it truly felt like a slice of Hyderabad right here in the Bay! Every dish had that authentic touch and homely warmth you rarely find these days.
We tried the Mutton Haleem, Mutton Biryani, Chicken 65, Majestic Chicken, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Sticks and loved them all!
*The mutton haleem was rich, hearty, and full of flavor. *Must try *The Hyderabadi biryani stood out with perfectly cooked rice, tender zabiha halal, and that unmistakable dum aroma. *Must try *Chicken 65 had soft, balanced flavoring not overpowering at all. *Majestic chicken instantly reminded us of Hyderabadi wedding dinners (so nostalgic!). *The butter chicken was creamy, buttery, and smooth exactly how it should be. *And those chicken sticks? Perfect starters crispy, juicy, and best enjoyed hot right out of the fryer with their dip.
For desserts, the Apricot Delight was just uff, amazing!!! so well done, and the Fruit Trifle was equally good. We ended the meal with a cup of super Irani chai, and mango lassi which wrapped up everything perfectly.
The restaurant has a simple, classic Hyderabadi ambiance, with both indoor and outdoor seating and great natural lighting. I also really appreciated the small prayer corner they’ve thoughtfully provided such a nice touch. Everything was clean, service was friendly, and overall hygiene was good too.
Definitely visiting here again.

The staff member at the counter licked his fingers and then touched the inside of my cup before handing me my tea. This is completely unhygienic and unacceptable. Such behavior poses serious health risks, especially in a food service setting, and shows a total lack of basic hygiene standards.
