We got chipotle bean sandwich, spicy crepe and strawberry banana crepe. It was alright. I have had better. Good vegetarian selection though!

Perfect place for a brunch stop in the East Bay, I would certainly come back to Frodo Joe’s. Firstly, we came around noon and they still had many seats. They don’t take reservations on the weekends but we got seated immediately. They have a waitlist if needed too!

I was with 4 people and we got different crepes. The flavors are so unique and intriguing - I have never seen a crepe filled with rice! I got the Raspberry Cheesecake Nutella filled one, which was delicious! It was so filling and such a large portion. My friends got different flavors of savory options, which last some of them another meal. The prices are pretty fair too!

Service was a little slow when they got busier but the staff were kind and helpful. And the decor is so cute, it makes for a great experience!

Plus they have a clean bathroom with a fun sign (picture included!)

Great food and service. Everyone working for Frodo is happy and hospitable.

They have huge portions but since the food is light and tasty - you won’t notice that you finish your plate.

We tried the club sandwich, bento crepe and berry crepe. Everything is delicious- fresh veggies, fruits.

Very rude servers. 2/4 orders were wrong. They fixed one and wasted so much time in remaking it.
They argued a lot about the second one and took it away. Did not bring back any replacement order and also charged us for the first few bites that we took off the incorrect order.

When pointing that they cannot charge us for an order that they took back, they argued that they gave a discount on that plate and only charged us for the portion we ate out of that plate.

I have never seen a restaurant staff fight so much over a $10 crepe. They have no respect for the customer and just ruined our brunch experience.
I hope they are happy with the $10 they saved by not offering us a replacement crepe! Just before leaving, which is after an hour of us staying there and having this argument with the 3 server, they offered to get a replacement! But we had 0 mood to eat or even stay at the restaurant anymore! So we skipped the replacement, only to get charged for the bites that we took off the first plate!

They did not even have any manager onsite for us to escalate this! If the manager is reading this, then please train your servers to prioritize customer service over a $10 crepe and also to have some decency and not have servers come turn by turn to argue at the table with families, trying to have a pleasant saturday brunch!

The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was super friendly. I got the Santa Cruz and a Matcha latte. Although they said the crepe came with pesto, I barely got any. Come to find out, the pesto was a couple of drops drizzled on top! I still gave it four stars because the food was good!

I like this Café mostly to eat breakfast, but this time was unpleasant since I was there with my kids (5) and a baby. I was disappointed with the additional charge because they put a charge of 6 people, but obviously my baby didn't eat anything from them. Otherwise, they counted my baby to add an additional fee on my bill as a mandatory even if they didn't do anything for my bby. It is an abuse! I spoke to the waitress about it, and she didn't take care of it and argued that we were 6 people, even if it was a baby included.
I'm not sure to come back again. ?
