Love the food. Best Idlis that I have ever had

Idly Express is a great spot for South Indian food lovers, especially if you’re craving soft, fluffy idlis and crispy dosas. The food is fresh, flavorful, and served relatively quickly. Their chutneys and sambar are well-spiced and complement the dishes perfectly.

Service is generally good and Pricing is reasonable for the quality of food offered.

I really used to enjoy the food at Idly Express, and I regularly ordered the idli-vada combo. I have noticed many eco-friendly changes in the food packaging and I really appreciate you for making those changes.

However, recently I have become more concerned about the use of gloves. I requested one of the staff members to pack the food without touching it with gloves, but I was told that gloves are used to pack food like idli, as they are packed directly with gloves. I would like to know if it is safe to touch hot food with gloves. Could you please let me know what type of gloves you use?

We love the Bene Masala Dosa, Onion Uttapam and Idli in Sambar dip. Every time we order the taste comes out great.

The filter coffee is my favorite. I ask to make it stronger and they cater to my request. Just wished it would be a little cheaper so i could take a cup everyday :)

Overall a great place for good South Indian breakfast / brunch.

I have also taken the 2 for $18 pre made curies and they tasted fine. Not very good But i would rate it like 3.5/5

Got spoilt sambhar with my takeout yesterday. Had to go back and return it. The staff were very apologetic and replaced it with a fresh container of sambhar but really disappointed that a South Indian restaurant specializing only in a few items could serve spoilt sambhar.

We often pick up veggies and sambar from here when we are in a crunch. They are always freshly made and tasty. I love the concept and would like to see more options for veggies and sambar in the future.

I believe the owner also manages Mylapore restaurant next door. This place is famous for its vegan chai. Trust me its as good as they say it is! Not a place for dine-in. Lots and lots of pick ups while I was waiting to get my chai. Highly recommended.

Excellent to-go food only. Best take away only food place. Their idli batter was very fresh and lasted a week. Sambhar was more with pumpkin but good. Chutney wasn't that fresh. The idli vada combo is good with large size idli but 2 vadas are small.

We ordered idly , it wasn’t cook and it’s raw . They lost their quality . I wouldn’t order there anymore

This place is an express take out place. Not for "dine in". Exceptional quality South Indian vegetarian food. Service is awesome. They also deliver via DoorDash and Bites. Always service with a smile.
