Used to come here very often last year when i used to work in Fremont.
Was craving for their broasted chicken so i went in the afternoon 30mins before closing.
The fried chicken was tasteless and burnt (probably due to the oil being used the whole day). Literally it had no flavor like it used to. Can’t even smell it!
I brought my cousins with me and it was their first time going there. I was telling them how good the chicken was but I was disappointed this time around.

100x better than Jolibee and at a much better price point. I’ve been eating this broasted chicken at family gatherings since I was little!

Meh. Chicken pieces were odd sized and mediocre. Lumpia shanhgai was just okay. I liked that the dipping sauce was not too sweet. Cash only, take-out only, and parking can be tight.

The food here is amazing. You definitely get more than your money's worth. The owner is also very kind and the cook does an amazing job. Its definitely a must try. I love the inviting atmosphere. I always get the fried chicken, the pansit and the lumpia. They have their own special recipe that can't be duplicated. If I could give a thousand stars I would. This family owned restaurant is definitely a staple in the community.

The restaurant itself tucks in a small complex. Parking can be difficult during lunch & dinner time. Most of the time, I street parked near the complex. After pandemic, they only serve carry out. It's hard to order by phone as they rarely pick up the phone. I saw lots of people come to the restaurant to pre-order the food to be picked up later in the day.

- Broasted chicken: SUPER good! (Better than kfc & churches!!!) The skin is very crispy while the meat is still tender.
- Pork sinigang: my favorite Filipino soup! It has the perfect sour taste & lots of veggies.
- The chicken adobo & pancit are good too.
I always order the 2 items daily combo that comes with rice. For the price & portion, it is a very good deal!

Go there for the good food, not the mood of the owners.Just ignore the SUNGITRY and your palate would be rewarded ?.Have not been there in years, but I can’t forget how good their chicken was ?.

Rude service. Stood there for 10 minutes and no body is taking my order. No one in line. The owner just busy dealing with kitchen staff and answering calls. When you call him, he just signals he’s busy and to wait. No body was there so not sure why isn’t he taking orders from people who are there already. Very

Maharlika is my new favorite spot for Filippino take out! This mom and pop shop is cash only, and take out only. They offer fabulous prices and generous portions. Their signature broasted chicken is incredibly crispy and juicy, a definite rival to other fried chicken places. One of my favorite dishes is the signature pork sinigang- a tangy tamarind soup. We also had the chicken adobo which melts in your mouth. Daily combo plates are only $6.50 and come with two generous items + rice. The owner is super nice, I wish I could adopt him!
