I guess they could not decide whether to be a Singaporean or Burmese restaurant so they have both kinds of food on the menu. Unfortunately the food is all very muddled tasting. The Burmese staple Tea Leaf Salad is the worst I've had. Same with the Mohinga. The Hainam chicken is tough. The basil beef tastes like something from Panda Express. The Belanchan sauce in the Ong Choi is weak. The Roti and Somosa are passable I suppose, but this restaurant is just extremely mediocre.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I don’t hear anyone talk about it but the food is great and the staff are very nice. I’ve tried the black pepper beef, kung pao chicken, beef rendang, and their noodle soups. All of the dishes were delicious, and don’t forget to get a roti appetizer!

Food is extra salty, high in sodium even though I request no MSG but still very salty

Mingala is my favorite Malaysian/southeast Asian restaurant in the Bay Area! The food here is consistently good and flavorful - my favorites are the curry mee chicken and nasi lemak with beef rendang. Good portions and good prices, not to mention the service is friendly!

Love the Burmese Tea Leaf salad here! Also had a delicious Singaporean Bee Hoon and Laksa Noodles. Super fast and friendly customer service, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Talk about amazing service. I'd come back for that even if the food was sub par. Luckily the food is just as delicious as the service is amazing. Would highly recommend this place.

Food is reasonable price for the portion. Good service. Love the taste, not too salty or sweet. Curry is very good. Lunch price is very reasonable $15.

One of the best restaurants in Bay Area for Indo Malay food. The food is always very fresh and tasty. The presentation is also very good especially that of the coconut and sugarcane juice. I love the Burmese Tea Leaf Salad and the Mee Goreng dish which is my go to . Highly recommend and it is vegetarian friendly too!! I am an Indian Vegetarian.

The food was average overall, with some appetizers and main courses being overly tangy and not to our liking. The curry fried rice and pineapple fried rice were okay.

Came here for the Malaysian food. Requested for more wok hey for the WaTanHor dish and they turned out pretty decent, pretty close to what I’d find back home in Singapore and Malaysia. Balacan Kang Kung (water spinach) was served with generous portion of balacan that I appreciate. Beef rendang is wetter and less spicy than what I’m normally used to but it was still pretty delightful. Jasmine rice was fluffy and fragrant.I appreciate that they had made it more mild instead of really spicy, so if you really want spicy you’d have to specify that specifically! Not a total 5, but more than a 4 for sure! But I’m giving 5 so that they will be here for a long time to serve the minority of us who may miss home food now and then!
