This is a good place to go when they have sampling events, depending on who you are working with, but might not have what you normally purchase at other stores. The lots can become full in a hurry, if you do not arrive early or before closing.
Top notch beef sliced and ready for grill. Authentic Japnese groceries and dishes to purchase. Can't wait for the new Foster City store so I won't have to drive to Fremont. Price of meat is slightly on the higher side, but the quality is hands down worth it. Drove 45 minutes to the store because the quality is so good.
The taste of the ramen truly reminds my family of Japan, if not better. We ordered the classic ramen, the one with the spicy shredded crab and garlic mushroom ramen. Of the three, the classic and the one with the shredded crab was good and both broth was rich. The garlic mushroom ramen was a bit strong in mushroom broth for my taste. We will surely revisit again.
