Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodles

Visiting from Texas for a business trip. I Had a long day at work and needed to do laundry for my trip back home. I didn't get a chance to eat all day. I stopped by Ox9 and ordered the Crispy lamb chops. The cashier who helped me was so sweet and helpful. I am so glad I got to stop here. The lamb chops were amazing!!! I hope that I may get a chance to return and stop by OX9 again

Bad very very bad customer service. They have a lady that is so rude to the customer. I have been eating here a couple of time and I also recommended it because it seen like a enjoyable place to eat but after what happened to us I take it back. Also I have ordered to go and they don’t give you what you order. The last time I order here the food was wrong and the service even worse! I when to pick up my food and the rude lady refused to let me go WITH MY FOOD! that I had already paid for. She demanded me to show her the name for the order and I kept telling her that I wasn’t a dasher. She was tug o war with me and my food and the worse part is she was doing this in front of her customers.

This place offers the best freshly made noodles. The large flat noodle soup is my go to dish. The spicy lamb skewers are good. Actually every dish I tried was good. 😊

It’s scary how much MSG they put in the broth. After the meal, my tongue went numbing and my mouth was extremely bitter and dry the whole night I couldn’t even sleep well. This didn’t wear off till the next evening so it lasted almost 24 hours. This alone is a deal breaker and I will avoid going back.

The skewers were flavorful and tender but cooled off a little too quickly.
The texture of the noodles was the best part abt this resturant, with a bit of chew and the right consistency.
The only criticism I could give to the dishes was that they put a little too much MSG in the soup especially, my mouth felt dry after drinking the soup. The flavor on itself was fantastic just wished they had put less msg and let the natural flavor of the broth to show
