Now I know reason why I've been avoiding this place! Came in today, there were two customers ahead to order but it took the person 15 min before she can take my order. Because she had to work the bakeries orders in between taking orders. Manager or Biz owner has yet to address the reoccurring issues. I'd rather go somewhere else.

Coffee is good and made fast but do not order food in the morning. My order was done 8:25 and it took another 25 minutes for a small breakfast sandwhich. And this was a mobile order.
Great coffee. The third number in the sequence is 1.

They need to hire more people. We waited for about 30 mins. The barista was pretty rude when I asked them for my order, and I only went up to them cause the app said my order was ready. I think they were overworked so I totally empathize. But the owner perhaps needs to hire more people.
Lady making the drinks has an attitude and is not trained on speaking to customers whatsoever she’s not wearing a name tag either so I wouldn’t be able to share who it was but definitely never returning to this store when baristas have an attitude like that

It seems this place is consistently understaffed and baristas are exponentially being expected to make more drinks in a shorter time frame upon inquiring with some of the baristas when I asked why it seems drinks come out later now compared to previous years. Management doesnt appear to do anything to support baristas or efficiently implement procedures to ensure efficiency without compromising on service time and drink quality. It is quite disappointing seeing how the workers look like they're in a sweat shop here, and forced to come in sick as i saw some sneezing and sound congested, and when its busy everything appears to be falling apart yet the management and company's only goal is to maximize profits and alienate themselves so much from the people who actually work and produce the products that generate their surplus profit. I don't think I can support this company on a conscious level given how exploitative it has become. I would rather go to and support other cafes that seem to be opening up in the area.

It’s been a while since I last came, so I wanted to give this place another try. Unfortunately, the service quality is still very poor. I stood there for a long time and no one came to assist me. If you order online, you’ll have to wait almost an hour — which is honestly ridiculous. If you’re already hungry, I’d recommend not using their online order at all. Definitely hope they can improve.

About 20-30 seats and ample power sockets. Convenient and clean restrooms. Good wifi and looks of people working. You can share tables with others. The parking situation is painful. Is always crowded outside
I visited Philz Coffee after seeing their limited edition Iced Tiramisu all over Instagram — and it definitely lived up to the hype! It was my first time trying their coffee, and I absolutely loved it. The drink was creamy, smooth, and had just the right amount of sweetness. I’d rate it a 9.5/10 — such a delicious and refreshing treat!
I also tried their cheese jalapeño bagel — it wasn’t really for me, as it was a bit too spicy and had a unique flavor I couldn’t quite describe.
One of the things I loved is that you can customize how creamy you want your drink — they offer light, medium, or extra creamy, and they even have dairy alternatives if you prefer. Drinks also come in three sizes — small, medium, and large, and I’ll be adding a picture showing how the prices vary.
Small $4.90
Medium $5.90
Large $6.90
The vibe of the café was really nice — casual, cozy, and gives off a cool, college hangout feel. The staff were polite, though a little more small talk or recommendations would’ve made a first-time visit even better.
I did notice that there weren’t many vegetarian options on the menu. Being a vegetarian, I would have loved to see something like a vegetable sandwich or salad in addition to the jalapeño bagel. It could attract more customers and boost sales.
They also have their own merch corner, which I thought was super cute! You can find totes, sweatshirts, mugs, cups, and t-shirts — great little gift ideas for coffee lovers.
Overall, though, I’d definitely come back for their coffee — especially the Iced Tiramisu! Highly recommend giving it a try before it’s gone.

I usually go here for Philz because I love their coffee, but today I waited 24 minutes for a cold brew after being 2nd in line to order. One person ahead of me and two people sitting down on the waiting bench.
By the time I went to go ask for a refund they still hadn’t even started on it. 24 minutes from when I ordered inside and they still weren’t working on it. The manager or whoever just said “yeah sorry about that”.
The wait time here has always been kind of long, but I’m over it now. Time to find a different local coffee spot.
Coffee:
I go to Philz semi-frequently and always order a medium or dark blend with medium cream and light sugar, but the amount of cream and sugar are often inconsistent. So there have been many times when it has been too sweet and have had to ask them to make it again or have had to ask them for more cream or more sugar. There have been a few times where the coffee has been too watery as well. It would help if all their baristas used measuring cups or some system to keep things consistent. I’ve also noticed the quality of the beans to not be as good recently compared to a few years ago. This could be due to getting their beans from a different supplier and/or being acquired by a private equity firm.
Service:
I can’t complain about the service as the barista’s are always very nice. The only complaint would be the long wait times but that’s something that cannot be helped as each cup is made individually. However, I have noticed the wait time has decreased dramatically over the last half year.
Atmoshpere:
The tables could use a wipe down more often and outside umbrellas could be provided at more outdoor tables as most Philz locations’ patios I have been to tend to face the sun for some reason. Indoors at most locations tend to be on the more noisy side and the music they often play is not to my taste.
