Food : 2/5 : nothing stands out and fact that they give barely 2 tsp of sambar with dosa itself is a turnoff. The butter dosa is very mediocre, while the lemon idly is just fine. The Kara bath was good though. Service :2/5: The bamboo plate use to showcase green initiative is a turn off especially when the plates rotate by themselves on tables making eating a difficult task. The small bowls for chutneys and sambar aren't too exciting. Ambiance: 3/5 : have seen restaurants with much worse ambiance, but the place was clean and not noisy. In Bay Area where we have so many good South Indian restaurants, this one will definitely find it difficult to survive. I was looking forward to this place after hearing about the one in India being so popular and delicious.

Exceptional experience at Rameshwaram Cafe! The Indian-style breakfast was a delightful surprise in California. From perfectly spiced dosas to flavorful sambar, every bite was a journey of taste. The variety and authenticity exceeded expectations. Kudos to the chef and staff for such a memorable start to the

Bangalore style dosas are having a moment right now in the south bay - and they rightly should be! I visited Rameshwaram cafe for dinner and it was super crowded. It’s new, they’re still figuring out how to manage the crowd and it shows. I hope they are able to streamline their process soon.We waited for around 15 minutes to get a table for 2. The food was worth the wait. Karnataka style sambar and chutneys (especially the coconut chutney) were the standouts.Dosa was good but not the perfect Bangalore style benne dosa.Really enjoyed the lemon idly and dip sambar idly.Vadas were a bit a dense - I’ve had better.

We tried masala Dosa, idly, vada. Dosa was crispy but chutney can be improved.. idly vada was just ok. But the way they take orders are much worse. You need to wait if you wanna order something again and there will be other people in the queue. It's probably better if service is improved and orders are taken at the table. They can also improve seating arrangement inside. Also they asked us to leave because other people are waiting. Management needs to improve basic etiquette about what people expect from a restaurant like service and wait times.

Food will never come. Ordered a togo for a plate punugulu and a coffee. Promised that they will be ready in 10 min. Waited for 30 min asking every 10min. The answer we get is 10 more minutes. Food ( just a coffee and punugulu) never came for 30 min. Finally came out without food. They didn’t have slightest of concerns.

We ordered a few things. Food was mediocre. Chutney and sambhar quantity was very very less. No restaurant gives so less chutney and sambhar. We even ordered filter coffee and asked to give along with the order. But, we had to remind 4 times and waited for almost 30 mins after food for coffee. 5th time the owner comes and tells us that they already gave the coffee and was arguing. We had to show him the stuff on the table and then he believed. Overall an okay restaurant. Wouldn't go here next time. There are many better South Indian restaurants in the Bay Area.

This place was delightful! Dose was delicious, with its perfect crispy texture and potato stuffing. We also tried their Puliogre which was tangy and flavorful! Lemon idly was good too. We also tried their Khara bath which was comforting with all the aromatic spices and lots of good veggies! Highly recommend this place and would def love to visit again!

The Dose and Idlys were really good. The Chow-chow bath was so-so and didn't feel it was freshly made.Ordering process is easy. One of the orders were missing and I had to remind him a couple of times to get the order.

If order for take away, they always delay up to even an hour.Poor hospitality. If we dine in,then too they ask to order menu in online and later came and tell they don't have that menu and won't refund for it and force us to buy some other menu instead.

Got the butter masala , lemon idly and puliogare! The texture of the dosa was great but the masala and the chutneys were mediocre. The lemon idly was great. The sambar was good however ! The puliogre was delicious and had a pretty authentic tang to it, it was really spicy however . Hopefully it was a one time off.It was a logistical nightmare however on a weekend afternoon, there’s a bunch of people crowding the front waiting area and it’s hard to know when your name is calledIt would be nice if they could implement a better waiting system electronically or like a queue based system during peak hours!Would visit again

High on expectations but very ordinary in all aspects. long waiting times and very usual taste of all the foods. None of the dosas ordered exceeded the expectations.
