@Safeway Manager canceled my order large grocery order. The store called me and told me they were not going to be able to fill my large online order because they were short staffed. Manager had unapologetic, incredibly bad, dismissive attitude and told me she was going home and just didn’t have the staff. Because they were unable to fill my order today and did not have the capability to reschedule it for tomorrow my 46 item order cancelled. Because only recent actual purchases are saved, if I wanted to place my order again I would have to start over in the app. 3900 Argonaut Ct, Fremont store needs better staffing and customer service training! May have just lost my business. Lucky’s is closer to my house, I like this store and hope this gets addressed!

I had the worst cake experience I have ever had with Safeway last week! First when I went into the bakery to order the lady at the counter was rude and not friendly, then she told me I only had a window of 3pm to 6pm to pick up cakes. Since when can you only pick up cakes during those hours each day? Then I ordered a Unicorn cake from the book of pictures and requested a chocolate cake with bananas in the middle. I picked up my cake a few days later. The cake DID NOT look li

This store has awesome employees! Produce, deli, bakery, self checkout. I live 2 blocks from Safeway on Washington but it doesn’t compare.
I was there at 2 pm for my curbside pickup. They sent me home because they “were running 2 hours late, just wait for a call.”
