So today was my last time ordering food from Sala Thai. Just look at this coffee cup sized Penang Curry I ordered for dinner entree with full prize of $17! As much as I liked their food, their portions have dramatically reduced to a point it feels like cheating! I strongly recommend checking out R-Haan in Warm Springs!!!

Place was full up with people, so anticipated a fine meal... Unfort, it was just kind of average. We had PAD SEE EIW & BASIL. They both tasted kind of weird. Can't really put my finger on why, maybe too acidic, too tart, I dunno. We liked the Green Iced tea.

They added on automatic gratuity even though I was paying for myself with a group of some people. I would've tipped out even more if they had not done that.

Ordered the crab fried rice and panang curry. It was delicious. The ambience is okay for a causal dining.

My family and I are still talking about the amazing crab fried rice. The other food we order were delicious as well. However, the pad thai was a bit too sweet for my liking. The staff was also very attentive and frequently check on their customers to see if they needed any assistance and to assess food quality. This was my second time here. I will be coming back.

We went to this Thai restaurant and really enjoyed the food. I ordered the Drunken Noodles and my husband got the Yellow Curry with a side of steamed basmati rice. The Drunken Noodles were absolutely delicious and the Yellow Curry was rich and flavorful.
The service was very nice. Our waitress kept checking on us and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. The only thing I didn’t love was the ambiance. The place didn’t look very well maintained and the seating was a bit uncomfortable.
The prices were reasonable. Our whole meal came to around $40, which felt fair for the portion sizes and quality. I would definitely go there again for the food.

Taste is good but quantity keeps decreasing 😔

Overpriced for the quality of food they serve. Mango chicken had a few old pieces of mango, cashews were stale, and the chicken was very fried. It was not an authentic mango chicken. The barbecue chicken was more like a lemon grass chicken

My go-to thai for years now. Do not sleep on their crispy fish with sweet garlic sauce(soooo good). Their panang curry and pad kee mao are also a class apart. We always pair the curry with their basil fried rice. No wonder these guys have three locations in Fremont. Folks can’t get enough of it!
