Make it complicated to get catering quote. Employees did not want to write order. Instead send text the send the picture or menu. Really disappointed with levels of service or courtesy. Guess they do not entertain catering order.
If you're wondering why it's no longer Sankalp, it's apparently because the restaurant was not up standards per Sankalp India. Decided to give it a try since it was great the last time I was here. Somehow new management(?) is tanking the place.
Palak paneer was VERY sour. Turns out it wasn't the paneer but the curry itself. Not sure what they did there, but that was the worse palak paneer I've ever had.
Also ordered a Mysore masala dosa. There was no crisp to it and it was very flimsy. The dosa took a long time to come out even though there were only two customers at the restaurant.
The one good thing there was the garlic butter naan.
I regret not going to Sankalp while it was still around. RIP
Nice menu and good food.

Amazing authentic Indian and Indo-Chinese food! Would highly recommend trying out their weekday special thalis (at an amazing deal too).

Update: during my second visit, the host was extremely rude and started a two minute timer for the entire party to arrive

awesome food and ambience … forgot my wallet and the staff is kind enough to give me a call back once they found during deep cleaning over the weekend. Thank you to Urmila for safeguarding the wallet

One like all the food was pretty good, it was really tasty delicious but the quantity was a little bit on the lower end. An entree is good for 3/4th of a serving for a person. We ended up ordering 1 noodle dish and 3 other entree curry dishes for 4 people (we were very full after that).

Restaurantji Recommends
After sampling three different catering companies for our son’s wedding, we selected Khaati Peeti Restaurant & Bar (formerly Sankalp Fremont) for our three-day wedding event in August. Their chefs met with us during the tasting to customize the dishes to our preferences, which we greatly appreciated. From the many delicious options, we chose “Baingan Bharta,” “Daal Bukhara,” “Paneer Tikka Masala,” “Daal Tadka,” “Mutter Methi Malai,” “Navratna Korma,” “Veg Diwani Handi,” and “Malai Kofta” for lunch and dinner services. For desserts, we ordered “Ras Malai,” “Gulab Jamun,” and “Moong Dal Halwa,” all of which were exceptional. Our guests frequently mention the memorable food, reinforcing that great cuisine elevates an event. We’re thrilled with our choice and will definitely choose Khaati Peeti Restaurant & Bar for future catering needs

Good Indian food. Their drinks were different and nice. We tried the old fashioned and Tamarind margarita. The paneer sizzler was good - well marinated paneer trio b

Food is full of oil, even dal was filled with lots of oil. The chutneys for dosa are cold. Every food item is full of oil.
This is a health hazard.
