Shanghai Flavor Reviews
The food is incredible—truly authentic Shanghainese cuisine! As someone who has been away from home for years, the flavors brought back so many wonderful memories and made me feel nostalgic. The staff are also incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back soon!
Great food and service, went with a group of 9 and everything was tasty. Not fancy so great for families with kids.
Good authentic Shang Hai food, with boss and workers all from Shanghai China. The noodle is really tasting like Shanghai style with pork livers cooked just right.

Shanghai Flavor offers authentic Shanghainese cuisine with generous portions and great taste. The restaurant, run by staff from Shanghai, features dishes like braised beef noodle soup and XLB, which are both flavorful and plentiful. Customers appreciate the warm and friendly service, making it a popular spot for takeout or dining in. The menu includes a variety of dishes such as eggplant, sweet-and-sour fish, green bean, and Shanghai fried rice, which are all known for their authentic flavors. The Shanghai noodle dish and a special dessert with mochi balls and flower petals in a delicate rice soup are also favorites. Despite occasional slow service, guests can always expect good food, especially when visiting outside of Mondays. The space is clean and welcoming, with a staff that makes everyone feel at home. Overall, Shanghai Flavor is a reliable place to enjoy traditional Shanghainese and southern Chinese dishes, including hard-to-find items like freshwater eel and stir-fried rice cakes.
