came here on the drive through altaville and honestly the food was great, really hit the spot. Loved the texture on the naan and the curry had good heat without being too much. My only small complaint is the seating area felt a little cramped, like we were elbow to elbow with the next table. Still, id definitely come back next time im passing through.
It was a great experience eating at Tandoori and Tawa Dhaba. We were coming back from Yosimiti and looking for Desi food and ended up at thus truck. The food was delicious from Amratsari kulcha to gobi paratha. The atmosphere was very homey sitting on a charpi. The most wonderful was the young lady Gurleen who took care of my granddaughter while we were enjoying the food. You must visit this place. The cholay batoora was so tasty.

Absolutely loved it both times we ate here! Balanced, bold, authentic flavors, served warmly and unpretentiously. Made fresh and mouth-wateringly good. Loved the aaloo paratha and paneer paratha, and the malai-fish + naan. Would love to try some chaat items next time. It truly is a dhaba setting, with some picnic tables in a large, empty lot, but that just adds to the experience. A favorite spot when we're passing this area!
The food was excellent on our way back from tahoe. The staff are homely and warm

Hidden just off the I-5 in French Camp lies a true open-air Indian kitchen experience — raw, authentic, and full of soul. This family-run food truck delivers not just food, but the kind of warm hospitality that instantly makes you feel like a regular.
The tandoori chicken was exceptional — deeply marinated, beautifully charred, and carrying that irresistible smoky charcoal BBQ essence in every bite. Paired with fresh tava rotis straight off the griddle, the flavors were rustic, bold, and unapologetically North Indian.
If you appreciate honest roadside cooking, open-air kitchens, and genuine Indian flavors without the frills, this spot is an absolute hidden gem and a must-visit.
I’ll definitely be making my way back.

Food and service was fantastical! I had chicken malia tikka and samosa chaat. The spice, flavors and portions were spot on for me. Do not sleep on this spot, it is a flavor game changer!
