I had a fine lunch here. Nothing exciting, but nothing terribly bad.

The menu is an interesting combination of familiar and fusion. The appetizers all seem familiar. Entrees are dominated by "wraps" and Indian-flavored pizzas. I decided to just get a selection of appetizers and was happy with what I had.

The server was inexperienced and a bit slow. After waiting 15 minutes for the check, I was starting to run late and almost went hunting for the server.

Food came up piping hot, and was very good. They had many options for beers, and what sounded like a full bar. Try the old monk beer if you have not yet. Very attentive service, and check on us an adequate amount throughout the meal.

Long story short, underwhelming food and service, don’t be taken away by reviews, ratings or pictures. The restaurant have potential due to the location and ambiance but owner and staff needs to change their attitude towards customers and listen to the feedback. All the food we ordered had something or the other as an issue, couldn’t finish daal and/or sabji as it didn’t have any taste…spice levels had no meaning and sweetness in the sabji was a put off, not expected in panjabi dish. Only the paneer item was tasty but it also had one piece totally burnt of six. Staff needs to have more enthusiastic and softer approach when welcoming or sending off the customer. Good luck to them, hope they improve but unfortunately they are not getting our business in the future!

Stopped here on the way to LA. Loved the food, especially the saag paneer! Will definitely stop here again if passing through Fresno.

It felt like lazy cooking overall. The vegetable curry was disappointing, with frozen vegetables that lacked freshness and flavor. The tomato sauce tasted undercooked, leaving an unpleasant raw flavor. Even the basics weren’t done right— the basmati rice was undercooked, which is surprising considering how simple it should be to get right. It seemed like it was stored too long and wasn’t properly prepared. For the price, I expected much better quality and flavor. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this food based on my experience.

We arrived at Aadar Indian Bistro around 4 pm for a late lunch and were impressed with the quick service. For starters, we had the mushroom pakora, which was perfectly crispy and paired well with the chutneys; along with Mango lassi. For the main course, we enjoyed the tandoori roti, olive naan, and dal makhni—all were absolutely delicious. A great spot for flavorful Indian cuisine, and we would definitely come again.
