We discovered Sal's a few months ago and it has become a regular stop for us when we are in the area. The staff are always super friendly and attentive. Last night we had to be somewhere, so they made sure to get us seated right away and got the food and drinks out lickety split! I ordered the veggie taco salad and hubby had the soft tacos. We also had margaritas on the rocks with salt. Such a delight! Try Sal's for the authentic and delicious food, stay for the great service and friendly atmosphere.

Don't ask about your food order or you will get yelled at and threatened that they will come around the counter and remove you... Very unsanitary conditions and has children from the ages of 11 and under hiding in the back of the kitchen

Great food and service. The people were friendly and our glasses were always full. We never had to ask for chips and salsa, and the food tasted great. The only problem (and the restaurant let us know up front) is that they cannot find people willing to work and they were short-staffed. Dinner took a loooooong time. Still, though, we would gladly return. A great choice if you are looking for Mexican food in Fresno.
Excellent meal and service. My family of 6 stopped to eat and sat outside on their patio deck with cool misters for lunch. Even with temps near 100, it was comfortable. From the time we were greeted by the hostess till the time we left, every interaction was an outstanding example of friendly, professional customer service. Multiple staff checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our server, Daniel, was personable and quick. Aaron, one of the owners, came out to check on us and chatted to make sure we had a good experience. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and welcoming. The food was delicious, and you can tell it is locally sourced and fresh. The portions are generous and perfectly seasoned. My only regret is that I could only finish about half of my amazing food! I wish we weren’t just visitors to the area so we could go back!
