Expertly cooked Chinese food in a simple setting for good prices. Everything on the menu is good. The baked BBQ pork buns are the star of the show. We loved the red bean paste buns. Great pastries for dessert, too. Amazing roast duck. They have some tables, but most folks take the food home. No table service. No credit cards accepted. CASH ONLY.

So I've been going here for years. I mean years. They have something I grew up eating in San Francisco. On Sunday we ordered and picked up 2 dozen cocktail buns. I don't know what changed/ happened or why BUT and I hate to write this but someone wasn't careful. The inside mixture has a clear and define taste of cleaning soap. So that 2 dozen minus 2 that went into the trash.
Needless to say, we won't be back.

Bought some roast pork. It's basically a slab of pork belly. The slab is still very fatty and didn't taste like roast pork. Buy the whole roast pork or don't buy.

I had to go and try this place out since i saw a video review on them. And i just have to say, this place did not disappoint at all!!! I just have to say...OMG!!! I love their steamed pork bao buns! They were so delicious! I bought a lot of things since it was my first time here. I bought 2 pork buns, 1 fried pork dumpling, 1 ube rice cake, 1 lotus moon cake, 1 hot dog bun, 1 turtle bread, and 1 pork belly/BBQ pork rice bowl. I didn't take any pictures 🤦♀️ because I was so excited to try a little of everything! All of it was so delicious. The bbq pork on the bowl was so tender, and the pork belly had a great crunchy crisp to it! It's a great combination! My son loved the turtle bread! And the fried pork dumpling was AMAZING!!! It had such a great flavor to it, just the right amount of seasoning. And not greasy at all. I will definitely be going back again! And I will definitely take pictures next time I go!!!

Although I frequent this area often, I have never seen this place. We tried the BBQ pork bun, BBQ pork Bao, green onion roll, egg custard, and ube cream cheese roll (it looked like a hot pocket). All of them were excellent. I preferred the pork bun for something savory and the egg custard tart for something sweet. The Ube was supposed to have cream cheese, but it must have absorbed into the bread because I didn't really see it or taste it. Service was fast and efficient, and there were a lot of people coming through. The ambiance is focused on takeout, but they do have a couple tables and 5 or 6 chairs if you want to sit down and try something....which we did. They close at 6 pm but co.e early because they run out of the good stuff. I was happy to find something new in Fresno (that has been here 20 years). I think they need a better sign out front. At least that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. ?
Parking: Shared parking lot adequate spaces if you don't mind a short walk.

I ordered 4 custard egg tarts, 2 red bean sesame balls, and one red bean moon cake. Pretty good for $21. Everything tasted good and I would go back again. It wasn't busy when I went in the afternoon due to the heat but I know it can get busy. Good local Chinese bakery.
