Back again! Literally the best breakfast. Given what is going on I called in and ordered a ham, egg and cheese breakfast bagel on a jalapeno cheddar bagel. Picked it up a minutes later. Greeted by very nice and welcoming worker Danielle. Wished for a good day. Took the order home. Very delicious! Had a great spicy kick with jalapeno cheddar bagel. Yummy! Great breakfast! Great service and delicious breakfast! Highly recommended!

It's been a long time since I reviewed good old Uncle Harry's. I'm still a big fan. This is a really convenient location at River Park by a Starbucks and FedEx store. There are a few tables outside and it doesn't get direct sunlight so it's a good place to sit in the late morning with a coffee and a bagel. There's also plenty of indoor seating. It's pretty simple inside - they've recently updated the menus to be easier to read, which I appreciate. There's a case up front with all the bagels displayed. They do bagels to go, toasted with "schmear" (cream cheese of various flavors), and bagel sandwiches. I usually get a poppyseed bagel with plain schmear, or a lox bagel sandwich. The staff are always great here and it doesn't turn over very often, which makes me think it's a good local business to work at. Their ordering process is easy and quick and they take your name with your order. I appreciate that they always try to get it right, too. The bagels are a generous size and very consistent. A couple of times I've had a bad batch and they've had a bit of a gritty quality - but that's rare. It can get pretty busy on weekend mornings but I've never had to wait long. I like stopping in here before I hit the road on a road trip and they've never held me up. Definitely a local staple for me.

Hungry for a simple carb to fuel my next run, I came across Uncle Harry's while in the area and wanted to check it out. I stopped by the next morning to bring in some bagels to work, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They have a pretty decent bagel selection of both savory and sweet options, as well as a couple of fancier bagels (like bacon cheddar, jalapeno cheddar, etc). They also have a large assortment of cream cheese/schmears to purchase as well. The bagels themselves were fine. They're a little too soft for my liking, almost like a dinner roll. However, they were still delicious and the cream cheese was great too. It hit the spot for me! I'm only including this tidbit because people have strong opinions about bagels and how they should be.

Today was actually my first time trying Uncle Harry's. The food itself was good however the service was terrible and is also the reason why I will not be returning. As one of the employees was taking down our order, she made snarky comments about how "complicated" it was while laughing. Proceeding with reading our orders out loud to other customers and causing them to turn and stare at us. This made me feel very unwelcome and ruined my overall experience.

Horrible employees. 01/26/20 around 1pm, i went in to the shop with my vegetarian girlfriend. We both ordered a ultimate bagelwich with meat on the side for hers, so i can eat it for her. Both times i have come in, the employees make a rude face and act like i asked them to go on a long journey just to put the meat on the side instead of in the sandwich. This is the second time this happened. I would give this location zero stars if i could.

I don't understand all the great reviews.. I'm from the east coast, so in general, finding good bagels has been a struggle in California. We were excited to try this place out, but it has been our biggest let down since coming to California. I think mostly because it has New York in the name, so i expected at least a halfway decent bagel. The bagels had the consistency of white wonder bread The bacon chive cream cheese is made with bacon bits.. but the artificially died bacon bits..not even the good bacon bits! I don't understand how you Make bacon chive cream cheese bad? The eggs as you can see are just as fake as the bacon. Honestly that was our bad, we saw the photos and still ordered egg sandwiches... However staff was friendly, coffee smelt great.

Been coming here for 5 years using credit card and same one every time and never asked for ID and today she refused to sell me because my ID wasn't with me (bad bad bad Managment) she should just told me bring it next time to see your ID when you buy a bagel

Cute spot for breakfast. First time there. Decided to go based on a few reviews I read from Yelp. Staff was friendly but missing personal attention for taking our order. Ordered 2 bagels: Lox and Ultimate without egg. Lox had lots of good flavor but was too salty for my liking. If you like salty, this is for you. The Ultimate had different meats that went well. It seems like you could custom order if you ask but I can't be sure since we were not tended to with suggestions. Good size bagels; very filling. Price was good.
I really like this sandwich-bagel shop. The fresh bagels you can smell as soon as you open the door, and I really dig the breakfast beggelwiches. There is around 15 different types of bagels with a selection of cream cheeses and the sandwich shop menu is just right, not too much not too little. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both really good, also for the lunch menu item's you can opt for regular bread or a bagel of your choosing. They have soup, usually chicken noodle and often offer another type of soup -just depends on what they cook up. The business now offers free WIFI as well. If you have never tried this place I think you should give it a bookmark, I highly doubt you will be dissatisfied. My customer experience here has been really good and the staff are super nice.

Love love LOVE this place!! The breakfast Ultimate bagel which has always been my favorite! Today I tried their lunch sandwich, and I am just so disappointed that I haven't had one a long time ago!! Sooo delicious! I had the meat lovers on a tomato basil bagel and was beyond satisfied!! The iced tea lemonade was the cherry on top!! Not like any other iced tea lemonade I've had before. Highly recommend

Downgrade is for the prices. We just got 2 ultimate bagel sandwiches. $16 was the Total. Omg I was shocked. The original price is $5.49 and we made a small change to it since they don't allow substitution. And all of a sudden we we're paying about $8 a bagel. .. the food and everything I mentioned before is still all positive. I was just extremely surprised by how much we paid and thought I'd warn all you out there.

I've been here a few times with no problems. This morning I ordered my jalapeño cheddar bagel with garlic cream cheese that I've ordered in the past. Got on the road and when I was about to eat it, I realized it wasn't spread at all. Just a big round ball right in the middle. I had to wait until I got home around lunch time to spread it and eat it. I don't mind doing it myself but not when you're on the road. I'm pretty disappointed.

Sophie from this location is sooooo rude. It's actually unbelievable, and the customer service was s**** Let me explain how my visit went, I come in, order 2 everything bagels on the everything bagel and an additional strawberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Order ONE white chocolate mocha (which Sophie proceeds to ask if I want a single or double shot and I say double) my man that is with me then orders a regular black coffee. She charges us, everything is normal we are just standing around waiting. She calls me over, tells me oh we don't have any everything bagels so you have to pick a different bagel. Then before I can speak, says I also just charged you for one bagel not two everything bagels so I'll have to charge you again if you want another bagel. I said???? Uh okay, well I call my man over so he can pick a different bagel for his everything bagel and I'm relaying the information over to him as she rudely cuts us off and says "there's no more everything bagels you need to pick a different bagel" like we get it, you said that twice, were confused as to why that wasn't told to us while we ordered and why you're giving us attitude for replacing a bagel YOU said you had and said yes to upon payment. So then, time goes on, I get irritated because now I have to order another everything bagel and get charged again, so I just say you know id actually like another bagel, can you ring me up for the other bagel you mistakenly forgot about. She does. As she's making the other bagel I'm looking at the price of my coffee. She gave me back a small cup of the white mocha I ordered, but it wasn't supposed to be in a small cup, I ordered a double after she asked me if I wanted a single or double, and the double goes in the large cup. So I then basically tell Sophie hey you gave me the wrong coffee I ordered a double in a large cup and she gets pissed and says she misunderstood and insists I only ordered a single and says I only ordered single and starts arguing with me? While me and my man both say no. I ordered a double. Basically Sophie, your customer service was terrible. You messed up countless times and never even offered to comp the stuff you messed up on nor fix what you did. All you said was oh I'll have to charge you for that oh I didn't charge you for that, no Sophie, you didn't, you messed up. You're extremely rude and need to be retrained in customer service because I will never attend this location again.
