The sushi was really fresh and Jimmy was a food host and made the food taste even better, definitely recommend for anyone who loves sushi!!

Ordered to go knowing it wasnt going to be as good as dine in. I was expecting a bit of a down grade. What I got was bottom of the barrel sushi. They gave me the EXACT SAME fillings for all 5 different sushi roll that i had ordered. All the rolls were pretty much bland because of that. The rice was super soggy and had no texture. The sashimi platter that I got had 3 spoiled pieces of fish that smelled so bad, I had to throw the other half of the sashimi platter that touched it away. The seaweed salad was okay. It definitely needed more seaweed than lettuce. The miso soup was below average. Boiling water + miso paste only from what I tasted. Overall, I give it a 2/5. Would definitely try dining in one time to see if its any better. As of now, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for some decent quality sushi.

Ordered take out from the vegan menu- the mr. potato roll and miso soup. Pick up was easy and timely. The roll was good, even unique with the concept of tater tots accompanying it, but for me personally, I wouldn't pay $20+ again for it. The outside avo and sauce had a great taste but was overpowered by the plain taste of rice. Had there been soy sauce that came along with it, it probably would have tasted better. You can purchase soy for $2 but I overlooked that as I've never ordered sushi where you didn't get a few packets with the roll.
I also checked the option for utensils seeing as I was traveling, but only chopsticks were included so I had nothing for my soup.
I love that there is a large vegan menu and I would absolutely go back to try more of it- I just feel there could be a little more attention to detail for take out orders.

No one there at 130 pm. Sashimi was okay. Bowl of rice was pricey Often rice come with the order. Beer was ice cold off the tap in a frosted mug! Outstanding

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything! My husband and I have been coming to BluFin for the past six years, and in that time we’ve gotten to know the owner and his family, some of the nicest people you could ever meet. It’s a true family run restaurant, and they make you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in.

The food is always incredible. They have a full vegan menu for those who want it, but their regular menu is just as outstanding, with fresh and flavorful Japanese dishes that keep us coming back. I bring friends and family here whenever we are craving Japanese food, and it never disappoints.

We cannot wait to come back!

I would have give 0 star for the service if possible. No doubt food is good that’s the reason we were going back again and again. But they have no idea how to treat their customers. We sat on 2 seater table. Party of 5 came and sat next to us when the whole place is empty. We got the food. As me and my husband were sharing the food I moved my chair to the side close to him and the guy asked me to move it back I told him we’re sharing and he said you can change your table then. We had to pick up the food and move to the 5 seater table!!!!! It was awkward holding your plates and walking!! When he could’ve asked them to move on that table as they were still waiting to order. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!LEARN TO RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!

Called in order for pick up 2 rolls miso soup and sauce $44…
Get there place is dead 1 table and some people at the sushi bar
Guy tells me they are so busy my food isn’t done yet .. he really just forgot about mine which I confronted him about it he said we just haven’t started yet
End up waiting about an hour I get back to the hospital where my wife JUST had our newborn and see no miso soup and missing sauce
Everything else was just sloppy teriyaki sauce wasn’t properly closed so a mess everywhere in the bag
I call back and they were filled with excuses
I asked how they were going to make up for it and their proposal was for me to just return and pick up the rest of my order???
I told him I wanted a refund he said he can’t he can’t just remake my food and add what they originally forgot. Extremely disappointed used to be my go to spot now I don’t think I’ll return purely based on how they handled this.

I’ve tried to eat here twice with my girlfriend. Both experiences have been the same: I get seated, 10 minutes go by without any water or interaction with staff. 1st time we were the only people in there (very awkward) and 2nd there were people dining but 2 tables had not been helped.

I left after 15 minutes both times.

Please hire a staff. You’re asking me to pay $16+ for sushi, I do expect some type of service. Say “Hi” say “it’ll be a moment” set expectations and interact with your customers.

I will not be going back.

The food is absolutely delicious extremely fresh they do an excellent job of plating everything and making it look fun and exciting to eat.
But most importantly the customer service goes above and beyond I always enjoy interacting with the owner he is such a kind gentleman very organized polite and clean and he runs his restaurant the same way. My favorite is the salmon skin appetizer and the crab fried rice. One thing that stands out about this Restaurant Is The food tastes the same whether you eat their doordash it or pick it up and that's really hard to find that consistency. This is my comfort food and it makes it even better when the customer service is 10 out of 10.. 1000% recommend!
