I rarely leave reviews, but this needs to be said. If youâre looking for traditional Hawaiian poke, this is not the place. This spot feels more like âhigh society pokeâ â fancy-looking but far from authentic.
There was barely any fish in my bowl, and what little I got was hard and dry. The rice was overcooked, the greens werenât mixed properly, and the eel sauce was overly salty. Even the spicy mayo had a strange aftertaste.
If you want a quick, satisfying poke bowl, skip this place. And if itâs your first time ever trying poke, please donât let this be your introduction â itâs a poor example of what real poke should be.
Also side tip, before going to any poke place look up who the owners are. That will give a good sign if it will be good or not.
