The restaurant/bakery is very cozy and nice but when I finally received my food it was cold and the waiter kept forgetting my food and had to make multiple trips to bring me my whole order.

This used to be one of my quick yummy go to places for a sandwich and soup. It has really gone down hill. Food quality is poor. Minimal filling in my sandwich. Dry old bread. They've done away with actual dishes and silverware. Everything is disposable. Not even a plastic knife available. Food packaged to go even when you dine in. There used to be condiments available. Not anymore. Could not find trash can to throw our trash away. I asked for a half sandwich and full bowl of soup. Was told I could only get full sandwich and cup of soup. By the way the cup of soup was awful. So essentially I got 2 full size dry empty sandwiches (basically 4 pieces of old bread). 1 ounce bag of chips, half full cup of soup and a piece of lemon bar. $45.00! VERY disappointed! Not coming back!

Bad experience! Cold coffee, poor service. The price is good but it seems expensive because of the poor quality.

I don’t usually leave a bad review but the cinnamon rolls were doughy, and undercooked, the table was sticky, seats torn, the raisin crisp recipe changed and is very bland now, o they were out of potatoes but scrambled eggs were good and the staff was nice and apologetic. I can see why Panera’s winning over them.

These booths have been around the block a few times. The tables are sticky; the bench backrests are stained and have more stains than a motel mattress.

Won’t be back…My wife and I ate at the restaurant yesterday for breakfast Sunday, 11/30th and we were very disappointed. When we placed our orders for GARDEN GATE SCRAMBLER (370-550 CAL) we were told that they were out of the country fried potatoes that we were supposed to have been included in our order. They offered pancakes as a substitute to my order. Then they said that they were out of their syrup for the pancakes. They then said that they would substitute sugar free syrup so I said OK. We felt that it was odd that a restaurant would be out of these items. My scrambled eggs were under cooked and prepared poorly and not the quality I was expecting! The restaurant and the men’s bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. The tables located in the dining room were very sticky from syrup. The table tops need to be cleaned after each use! The booth seats were in poor condition and need to be replaced with new seats. The men’s bathroom was not clean and there were no paper towels to dry my hands. The overall appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant was poor.
Would not recommend the restaurant…
Will not be back!

Food was served cold, tasted like day old food that wad warmed in the microwave the next day. Bundt cake and cookies were so hard. The egg bowls were flavorless and needed seasoning/ salt, and the pesto cavatapi was yucky and just reheated in the microwave. The poor staff did not look happy to be working there. I was very disappointed, the one is visalia offered better service and quality of food. Will definitely not be going there again it was a waste of food and money we ended up tossing most of the food and left hungry.

The girl at the counter was yawning and half asleep. The eggs on my sandwich was cold. My girlfriends All American had potatoes that were gross and hard as rocks, I've had better at McDonald's! That's saying a lot. I took my sandwich back and the counter girl said " do you want me to warm it up"? WTH. This place is weak at best.

Great place to grab a breakfast sandwich, cup and coffee and do some computer work. Usually not too crowded in the mornings. Relatively quiet atmosphere. It does need a little updating as some of the cushions are pretty trashed in the booths. Otherwise a great place.

The food and the service are usually good here and deserve 4.5 stars. However, the restaurant and bathroom itself are not thoroughly cleaned regularly. The booth seats have crumbs in the crevices and one of the bathroom stalls had a dusty spider web in the corner of it. 3 stars for cleanliness.

Parking: Handicap parking is available in front of the restaurant. General parking is difficult to find on weekends and during peak hours any day.

Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available. No diaper changing table though.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp available from parking lot up to sidewalk in front of restaurant.

Wanted to go have a nice breakfast with my fiance. Ended up having a horrible experience. Not only was my croissant sandwich flavorless and cold. We got asked if we paid for the two bags of cookies on our table which were almost $7 each. Which absolutely ruined our breakfast experience. It sucked to be asked that question after we almost paid $50 for all of our items. It shows there's no communication between the server and the cashier. That or we were being profiled, not sure which one it was. Never going back again.

Food is ok. They were out of several items, offered to substitute - then charged extra for those substituted items. Also, don't believe prices on menu board, as they have been raised and they "haven't gotten around to" updating them yet.
