Me and my family went to eat at El Mariachi on a Saturday. We had the dining room to ourselves which was cool. While we sat there, many people ordered carry out. The restaurant temperature felt like it was set at a perfect 72 degrees. When we sat the waitress brought us chips and salsa. The chips were okay, the salsa was good. (The chips and salsa pic was taken after we ate most of them) We weren't asked if we wanted more chips which didn't bother me because I didn't want more chips. I ordered the chile verde plate. It had plenty of food (and I'm not skinny). It had really good flavor. I felt like the homemade corn tortilla lacked flavor but I enjoyed my breakfast and would order it again. My daughter had a side of rice. She is a picky eater and didn't like the rice so I had to try it out for myself. I tried the rice and I didn't like the flavor of it. My wife tried it too and thought it was dry. The wife ordered chorizo, potatoes, bacon, and beans. The plate had lots of bacon. I felt it was overcooked but we both agreed that the papas con chorizo were delicious. I have had their breakfast burritos before and I recommend them. We agreed that overall we had a good experience and will be back.

The food was tasty but the portions were really lacking. A serving of rice was more like half of a serving. The food didn't take too long to get to the table but the waitress was a little less than welcoming imo, the kitchen accidentally put sour cream on my boyfriend's enchiladas which we kindly asked for them to remedy which they did. A pretty average Mexican restaurant except I feel like your typical Mexican place would be a little more generous with the servings.

I was really disappointed in the food. I ordered a beef taco and it came in a pre made shell, like you'd get at Taco Bell. I was there with a group and none of the plates looked appetizing.

For the food prize I'd rather go to Cheesecake Factory. Their carnitas are bomb try them over there. Also, for a better dining experience just don't eat here or buy here.

Cheap Cheap Place. They are so tight they squeak. You have to ask for chips and when you do they only give you about 9 chips in a medium sized bowl. The heavy weight older lady that waits tables is super rude. The look on her face makes you feel like you are in some kind of trouble. I asked her about the homemade tortillas and she said they are about 4-5 inches and they cost a dollar each. I told her that's pretty small and she made the size of an Oreo with her fingers and said this is small. These owners are not generous with their food at all and their prices are high. And because it's family owned they think they can pick on the customers. Good luck to this dump competing with Sal's Mexican Restaurant and some New Mexican Restaurants that will be opening soon.

Shitty service I only asked to get a tooth pick and she denied me them she said "you know what I'm actually not going to be giving you it every time you come in here " which was only my 2nd time going in told her I apologize that this will be the last time & she still said n. She was an older lady with dryed out burgundy hair. Mid 50s

Food was good the carnitas was a little bit tough and homemade flour tortillas were tasteless, needed salt and flavor but the food was really delicious and if you like hot salsa ask for the habanero sauce to add into salsa to make hot and good. Coffee is better than denny's and hot not luke warm like other places. The coffee made it 4 stars. First time eating there wife and I really enjoyed. Thanks to the co owner for being real person and great conversation.

I came and purchased 4 sodas for a lower price and got a charge of $16.59 when it showed on my transactions...this place is a scam and shady

I had a combo with a fish taco and chile relleno. The fish taco was the worst I've ever had. It had no flavor, so I put some of their green salsa (which was good) on it to make it edible. The chile relleno had a sour flavor. The beans and rice were good. My husband ordered an asada burrito which he said was decent, but kind of bland. This was so expensive we will definitely not be going back. Maybe other items are better, otherwise I have no idea how they have so many five star reviews.
