We got popusas the ones with chicharrón, frijoles y queso. They were good , but they were not cooked all the way. I could taste the masa. And well it is what it is. I will go again and this Time maybe ask for them to be well done. The place can use a little bit of maintenance, they could clean it at least. You can't see the kitchen and I don't want to imagine what it looks like. Because if it looks like the outside, I probably won't go again. But the food was...
This place is amazing. The food is incredible. I loved the Salvadoran tamales. I love that curtido. it was all amazing. I will definitely be back soon!!! also way better than that other place on north side.
This place is the very definition of "hole in the wall" and if you go be prepared to wait awhile for the food....it is made to order as you come in so it takes time but belive me it's worth it! The food is delicious so I'll keep going back, highly recommend it!
