Flower City Restaurant is a family favorite for more than twenty years. I love being able to order Their Dinner#2 from the website and they have it ready to pick up soon after I arrive.
So easy to click through even from Google maps and place the order.
The food is consistently good and you get a lot of food for the cost.
Fun trivia, when you get there, look over the doorway to the kitchen. The drawing of the dragon was done by my father and given to the owner.
So look up at the picture of his dragon as they prepare your order and maybe you come away with some good fortune to go with the good food.

First time there without reading any reviews. The two cashiers/waitresses were very nice and prompt. Unfortunately, for a stereotypical Americanized Chinese fast food restaurant, their food was ok. I ordered the Happy Family dish with extra shrimp and no water chestnuts. Although they left out the water chestnuts, they also forgot the extra shrimp, which I paid for. I didn't realize the dish didn't come with a side of white rice, which is usually a normal thing with almost every American Chinese restaurant I've been to in America. The dish itself was bland, which is surprising. The hot sauces didn't help. I honestly don't think I want to go again, but I must admit, the restaurant was quite busy with phone orders. Hmmph...to each their own favorite American Chinese fast food restaurant, I guess 🤷

Very disappointed 😞 I used to love this place but they messed my order up bad twice! 1st I ordered pepper beef over fried rice and it was a literal soup of watery sauce with no flavor and no rice or noodles at all. So I called and complained he said come back and we'll get your fried rice. So I drove back and should have checked before leaving but the bag was tied tight, when I got back home the second time I was given a pile of white rice with a little soy sauce on it for color... that is not fried rice!! so upset 😡 see pics if google will let me upload them.
