I ordered the Salmonodon, their smoked salmon on rye. The girl who made it was training and put it in the toaster. The lady who was training her stopped her and had her take it out after a few seconds. When she brought the sandwich, I asked if she toasted it and she told me no. I tried to eat it anyway and give it the benefit of the doubt. The salmon was warm and the cheese was melted and it was gross. I went up and told the other lady. Owner and staff were very welcoming and the food is top tier. High quality meats and vegetables, and perfectly baked bread makes these the best sandwiches in downtown, by a far margin.
The garlic spread is the best condiment I've ever had on a sandwich, and the fact that you can get basically any sandwich on genuine rye bread if you ask, is the cherry on top.

Wonderful service and atmosphere! I came here with my cousin after she got out of the ER. There was a very kind and open lady who greeted us and began showing us how the store worked, from the introduction of the garlish (I hope this is the right word) to the types of bread, meats, vegetables, and combinations that are offered.
