Excellent food and service. The food is hearty, distinctive, traditional Armenian. I have been a customer for close to 40 years, my choice for special occasions with family and friends. Nice atmosphere too!
How this place was not filled with people is beyond me! After living in SoCal for almost a decade I thought I had tasted all the Mediterranean food I can ever taste, but this place surprised me and raised the bar ! Easily the best food I’ve ever had for a long time! Stop reading the reviews and go there ! I told the chef he must have been to Hogwarts and I meant it!

This is one of few Armenian restaurants in Fresno. I love the lamb shish and pilaf. There are other items on the menu that are just as good. The service was awesome as usual. It's a nice quiet atmosphere for any occasion.

I had the most amazing solo lunch at George’s! I’ve heard people talk about George’s and if I recall correctly, I’ve actually been there a couple of times as a guest, but never of my own accord until this day. Everyone was exquisitely friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my unique quirks. I loved the background music, the textures built into the atmosphere, and I’d cover the food, fearing I’d not serve it Justice in word, but THE PEOPLE! I don’t happen to dine out often, but I eagerly await a return to George’s 🫶🏼 ~Lindy Crews

At first glance, the restaurant and décor may seem a bit dated, but don’t let that fool you—I strongly urge you to give it a try. The food and service are truly one of a kind. Their kebabs are grilled over an open flame right in front of you, adding an authentic and flavorful touch. While it’s a Mediterranean spot, don’t overlook their Philly cheesesteak—it’s surprisingly amazing. And the hummus? Absolutely out of this world. A hidden gem worth discovering!
