I must say food was really good and even reminded me of a special dish my wife used to make.
I had a luncheon special with the pineapple chicken. There was way more food than I could eat so plenty to take home.

Nice Chinese restaurant hidden away.
Almost passed by this gem when cruising through the Tower district. Main entrance is off on the side street, saw it while stopping to get cash from the ATM.
Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Good food, nice decor and friendly people.

After going there for over a decade and always getting the same plate, pineapple chicken they got a new cook and changed the recipe! Absolutely horrible and so disappointing! Even the great sauce that accompanied your fried won ton appetizer changed! So very sad I will not be going back.

Orange chicken dinner plate was very good. Soup that came with it was basically Campbell's chicken soup wish it was egg drop soup or tofu soup.

Food isn’t bad but the customer service is horrible. They don’t check on their customers and they only check on the customers they wanna check on. They don’t check on every single one of them and you gotta ask for a box or a refill of water is ridiculous.

We checked on the website prior to attending their establishment on the website. It’s still posted as the old prices so we are totally surprised to see how more expensive they’ve gotten. I called them later and she said oh those are the old prices. It doesn’t take that much time to post a new ones with the new menu price And the woman there was very rude when we first entered she yelled at Because I told her that there’d be more people coming so rude

My first impression when entering was quiet and clean, the server who took my order was very friendly. I'll be honest I found the pan fried noodles and fried rice to be underwhelming it was tossed together very lazily and not even crispy on the noodles, the top vegetables were composed of what I can assume was canned or frozen vegetables barely cooked with very little seasoning.

Golden restaurant is so amazing and delicious. I have been going here since I was little and it’s the best Chinese food in all of the Central Valley. You can’t go wrong ordering here and everything is so good!:)
2nd the service was slow and it’s like pulling teeth every time you ask for something there maybe a language barrier however body language says I do not want to help you.
3rd the food is mediocre at best
4th I had to use the restroom to relieve my bowels and no soap the kicker is when I got there I told the staff there’s no soap when I first washed my hands
5th the receipt is not printed and itemized they just scribble what ever they want on some carbon paper completely not legible but somehow your supposed to trust them and pay it.
My impression is they have been in business a long time in this location however I predict there in there last couple of years in business now because this is a poor way to run a business I think times have caught up too them and are in the process of passing them as we speak

Been going there for years. I took my mother-in-law who is 95 there today. She liked it a lot. The young women who have been there for ever are so kind. Every thing was delicious. Thank you Penny. Very very clean

The dishes here are slightly different than the other places we are used to. The food is more bland and oily but tasted fine. The sauce is light so it’s more on the healthier side. Plenty of parking in the lot and on the road. Waitresses were friendly providing great service.
