Happy Lemon is one of my favorite shops so far in the East side of Fresno. I like their D11 ,brown sugar milk tea, taste so addictive. Their pearl is also cook well enough, chewy and tasty. Their original waffle is also my favorite snack.

Happy Lemon has delicious drinks and now amazing popcorn chicken. I ordered the Green Tea with Mango bobo and it was delicious. On some drinks you customize the sweetness and size. My drink was not too sweet and the green tea was not overwhelmed by the mango syrup. The popcorn chicken was super delicious and very well seasoned. You can customize the flavor and the spice level which is very nice. The service is always great!

Consistent with other happy lemons in the state. Staff professional enough. Service fast for a crowded Sunday. Music a bit too loud to think or have a conversation.

The shop is cute and clean. The service is generally quick. Though, they are pretty busy during happy hours and it might take a while to get your drinks. We have been ordering their Okinawa brown sugar boba milk and roasted tea with boba. Be aware that they seem to put cream in their Okinawa brown sugar boba milk drink. I thought it is going be all milk but saw they squeezed cream in it. The roasted tea is on the watery side, but it fixes my craving, so I can't complain. The boba is generally cooked well (a little chewy and not too soft... my preference). Though occasionally, I could tell the boba might be sitting there for some time. Overall, it is a decent place for boba drinks in Fresno.

Had an alright experience here. The lemon drinks I tried from here we're alright but the boba I tried was just ok.The workers behind the counter didn't seem to know what oolong tea was. As their online menu had it but not their in person menu. The regular signature milk tea tasted powdered and just alright.Overall... Go to happy lemon for the lemon.

[Review #742]2023-028Drinks Order:DRAGONFRUIT LEMON SLUSHY with LYCHEE JELLO, MANGO LEMON SLUSHY with LYCHEE JELLO, BOBA MILK TEA with EGG PUDDING, OKINAWA ROASTED MILK TEA with BOBAI was happy to discover Happy Lemon in the same plaza as our fav Bakery Delights 3 years ago. They're a franchise that was introduced to me at a YEE in the South Bay; it was a tasty intro of their Rainbow Roll Cake by their bakery counterpart: Sunmerry Bakery along with a small selection of their boba drinks.I like the Fresno menu better than the Gardena location, as I'm a huge fan of dragonfruit & they have several drink variations using this fruit base. My fav is their Dragonfruit Lemon Slushy with Lychee... what a cool & refreshing drink to counter central CA's hot, hot summers! If you haven't tried dragonfruit, it's like a blended kiwi & pear with the texture of kiwi. There's 3 variations: red skin/red flesh, red skin/white flesh, yellow skin/white flesh; the more commonly used in boba shops, bakeries, or restaurants are the red skin/red flesh dragonfruit & has a hint of berry taste. I like the yellow skin/white flesh dragonfruit because it's the most sweet & more flavorful than the other 2, but I have yet to see this in any boba shop. The same goes for the Mango Lemon Slushy except with the tropical flavor of mango. I also like their Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea; it's made with kokuto sugar that gives a rich, deep, malty, "roasted" caramel flavor instead of the brown sugar sweetness in typical milk teas; HL's version is decent enough. The Boba Milk Tea is your standard milk tea. I added egg pudding, which was alright; I was thinking it's like a tofu pudding (豆腐花) consistency & flavor -- it's not.The menu consist of 9 drink categories: salted cheese, milk tea, classic brewed tea, fruit tea, blended whole lemon, squeezed lemon, lemon slushy, fruit smoothie, & Yakult series with toppings at 75¢ or $1.00. If you're hungry for munchies, they also served bubble waffles (aka Hong Kong pancake 香港雞蛋仔) with dipping sauces for an extra buck. Service is between ok to great, pending on the bobarista, time of day, & number of customers; my orders have been consistently executed whether customized or without changes.Recommended: Lemon Slushy series (my fav: Dragonfruit Lemon Slushy with Lychee Jello; kids' fav: Mango Lemon Slushy with Lychee Jello), Okinawa Roasted Milk Tea with Boba, Boba Milk Tea with Egg Pudding.

Happy Lemon is the top boba option in Fresno. Download the app for rewards - make sure to complete the process before purchase or it won't count. When you get a gift card, they give you 5% discount. Great deal especially if you get boba regularly. For the food: They have Buy One, Get One 50% Off Special on Thursdays. They will honor the discount if you call in the order. Add Chocolate Waffle for an afternoon snack. These are my top drink faves:- Matcha Latte with Salted Cheese- Fresh Dragon Fruit Lychee Juice w/Salted Cheese- Strawberry Shortcake

We were around this area and used to go across the street to another boba place and they were in the midst of remodeling, so while googling nearby places I didn't even realize there was this one across the street. So we came here, they were pretty free when we arrived, we looked at the menu and I wasn't entirely sure what to get, I got the Mango Lemon Boba and my little got one with blueberries, and we were both happy, they did taste great. I wish it had more of the additional flavor than the lemonade flavor, like mine I didn't really taste the Mango that much and my little didn't have a super strong blueberry taste either. So I liked it, but I wish it was mixed up a little better to get all the flavors you ask for.

Consistency is key to all places. They always make our boba drink the same every time. I come here at least twice a week. The cheese foam over my roasted oolong is my favorite as well as my fiancée’s. The service is fast and they are cordial to all the customers. If you’re in a mood for something to eat, try the waffles and ask for the cheese foam to go with it.

LOVE HAPPY LEMON! Every time I go, I get the Mango Yakult Smoothie. Occasionally, I'll get one of their bubble waffles, which are pretty good too. Definitely wish they had gift cards so I could get my friends and family to try this place; last time I asked they said that they didn't. Also, shoutout to Adore for great customer service!

My Two Cents

Service was tops and kind! Drinks, bobas were good. Manageable sweetness and ice levels. I would like a larger size.

During my time in Fresno, Happy Lemon quickly established itself as the most reliable good boba in the area. Having had Happy Lemon for years now throughout California, I can say that this Happy Lemon does seem not be as consistent as others I've had in the Bay Area or SoCal; most drinks (excluding the smoothies and brown sugar drinks) taste unsweetened if you order anything less than 100% sugar, and some menu items, such as anything with oolong tea seem to be missing from this location. As a heads up, the staff here understand "less sweet/ice" as 25%, not 75%. Service is quick and efficient as usual, and even when it's busy on Thursdays for the BOGO 50% deal, it's a quick trip. There's quite a bit of space with tables and chairs if you want to stay and study or hang out after grabbing your drinks. My go to drinks are the Mango Matcha, Lemon Yakult w/Aloe, Mango Green Tea w/Mango Boba, and Grapefruit Yakult. Most of the fruit drinks are good, with the milk tea based drinks being not as good, and I usually don't recommend getting the boba pearls because they aren't consistent and often undercooked.

I've been coming to Happy Lemon pretty consistently since they've opened up a few years back, the service is always friendly and they get your drinks out quite fast depending on how busy they are. The drinks are always good and I have yet to have a bad experience here (I highly doubt I ever will). The simplicity of the boba shop's interior design is very nice in my opinion. I enjoy it more than what most boba shops here in town tend to do. Also, if you have the chance I highly recommend trying their bubble waffles! It's soft and chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside (make sure to eat it right away or else the outside will get soft).
