It's tied in with the liquor store and gas station. They will take EBT for hot food (they aren't supposed to do that). Some people have gotten food poisoning. You get what you pay for. It also EXTREMELY HOT inside.
We first tried The Station BBQ last year at one of the local wineries. We finally drove out to try them again while looking for food for our daughter's wedding. The service was great the portions were decent and delicious. The brisket fell apart and had a good flavor. The tri-tip was good with a nice bark but a little heavy on salt on some spots. Let’s the facts straight. This place is inside a gas station. There’s no formal dining area but they set up a table with some chairs for a few of us to eat.
With that said, this is some of the best BBQ in town. Great portions. The Brisket was tender, the hot link had spice but great flavor. Mac & cheese, brisket chili for sides and they were bomb. The only negative, was that the tri tip was a little dry, but some BBQ sauce solved that problem.
