Got the special combo large pho, banh mi with grilled pork and spring rolls with shrimp and pork.Special combo large pho- great variety of different types of meats. Broth was perfect for cold weather. Well cooked noodles. Banh mi- very good and on point! Would have liked some pate in it as in traditional banh mi but maybe need to add it. There's a layer of lard? To add to fattiness and deliciousness.Spring rolls- nothing too special and the peanut sauce was a bit watery. Would probably skip on this next time.Iced Vietnamese coffee was excellent and good size.Service attentive and friendly. Ambiance is mostly booth style and clean enough. Plenty of parking in lot. Will definitely come again.

Amazing food their pho and ramen are perfect for the cool weather. It's a bit pricey but the portions are huge it's so worth it. Also their egg rolls are always crispy and fresh as well.

Came here for dinner on a Monday. We got pho and wonton combo soup. The broth of the pho had good flavor. They offer various size bowls--the small is a good sized portion. The fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp were good. Service was fine and ambiance was quiet with cozy booths or tables. Entrance is in the back with plenty of parking.

Called multiple times 30 minutes from closing hour and no one picked up. Wanted to place a phone order for pick up. My partner ended up making it there on time, 15 minutes before closing to order 3 #12 sandwiches, all with extra butter and pate. They charged for extra butter and pate but it didn't feel like they put any extra. Under $30 for all 3 so not too bad but didn't out enough butter and pate for charging extra fee. Still one of the better sandwiches you can get in Fresno though. Wish they would sell their pate and butter in containers like Lee's does!

2.5 I'd say. Place gets quite busy. We had a large group and tables took a while to open and then get cleared. Service was hit and miss though they did help out with questions when we had them. Water refills were infrequent, and didn't really see the service once the food dropped. Portions are good. We had gotten egg rolls to share, costly for the amount. I had gotten a ham and headcheese pate, and a vegetarian banh mi. I had gotten extra of the veggies to balance it out a bit better. The flavors were good. Needed more pickling tho but still had good crunch. Couldn't really taste the mayo it would usually have though which to me is a staple. There's definitely other options in the area that would work better. I would definitely suggest just walking up to pay for your order rather than waiting for the receipt as well.

My family and I came here to this establishment to dine in for lunch yesterday . As we were ordering our foods . We felt the waiter was very hostile when taking our orders. To me, it felt like as if " we should/needed to already know what we were going to order" and was rushed to order. Long story short, we received our food and after taking a few bites of my food. I looked down at my bowl and right away noticed this on top of my pho. I literally lost my appetite right there after seeing it. No, thanks. Taking my business elsewhere.

A Fresno Classic.Everytime I've come here we usually seat ourselves and the waiters come out with menus. Service is quick and efficient here! Their food is yummy. This is a good place to go to if you're craving Vietnamese food. Their pho and bahn mi is great. I've gotten their mini pho with rare steak, flank, and tendon multiple times and it'a good every time! Their BBQ pork banh mi is also good and is a pretty decent price at $7.49! The interior isn't anything special, but it doesn't have to be since the food is good! I'm content every time I come here.

Service was good. The server explained the dishes and provided recommendations. The food was very good. It was served quickly. But it was fresh, not sitting around. I had shaking beef. It was ver flavorful and tender. I was surprised it was so good. One buddy chose the pork chop. He loved it. My other buddy had a teriyaki chicken banh minh sandwich. He enjoyed it as well. The restaurant is, however, older and dated. Not the most enjoyable neighborhood.

Huong Lan Sandwiches is an affordable Vietnamese spot. There's a good variety of sandwiches, soups and entrees on the menu. They have selection of desserts near the register that can be taken to-go.For the food: The grilled pork noodle soup is not quite as expected, but still tasty. The broth is clear and instead of grilled pork, they use pork loaf pieces. You have choice of noodles - I chose egg noodles. Pick-up mango sticky rice and make sure to finish same-day.

The best Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches) in town! You can get a decent sized one for about $8. I usually get the Grilled Pork Banh Mi. So delicious! They also have lots of dishes available, including soup, pho, other noodles, apps, etc. I really like their Pho. I usually get the special combo and the broth is pretty decent. They have a great selection with their drink menu as well. When you enter, grab some menus from the cashiers and find a seat. There are a ton of booths and tables where you can choose to sit. They'll come bring you some water and take your order. Service is typically pretty good.I bought my mom a Banh Mi from here for the first time last night and she absolutely loved it. She wasn't expecting much because she's not really into Banh Mi, typically, but there's something special about these sandwiches. I can't pinpoint if it's the soft bread, the sauce, the arrangement of veggies, or the well-marinated meat. Probably a combination of everything to give it its magic! Would highly recommend

Pleasantly surprised when visiting Huong Lan 9 at the quality Vietnamese food they serve. I got the Spicy Noodle (Bun Bo Hue), and my husband ordered the Fine Noodle with Grilled Pork & Shrimp. Definitely filling quantities. I enjoyed my bun bo hue, though some slices of beef had difficult to chew tendons. My husband thought the fine noodle dish was fine, but he mistook it for a vermicelli noodle bowl. We also grabbed some of their grab-and-go goodies: the pork bun (my husband was amazed at how big they were but a little bummed the inside egg wasn't a pigeon egg, but regular egg); and the Mangoes with Pandan Sticky Rice. I loved the pandan sticky rice and mangoes.

Food is always delish and decent price. Korean short ribs were delicious! Bun Bo hue was good too. Also got iced Vietnamese coffee (aka liquid crack) and #12 special Vietnamese sandwich to go. Service is good but don't expect to wait for them to bring your check; pay at the register on your way out. Ambiance is casual and place is usually full esp during lunch and dinner times.

2 small chicken pho and and an order of their spring rolls ordered. I went in to pick it up. The restaurant is nice. Open. I went up to the front and said I called in an order. Not a very nice worker. Kind of rude. Oh well, hopefully the food is good. Order was ready. Paid for it and left. Lunchtime. Got everything set up. The Chicken Pho was really good! They give it set up so it's easy to put it all together! Plus, includes diffeeent sauces to spice it up and make it better! Tasty noodles, fresh jalapeños Really tasty and a good amount of chicken too! Flavorful! The shrimp spring roll was really good too. Mine was torn, but it was still fed and tasty. Great peanut sauce! Mother said hers was very good! She liked how they set up the chicken pho separately. Easier to put everything together. Wish the service was better, but the lunch was really good. Recommended for that. Good amount too! Leftovers!

Took my family so some of them could experience pho for the first time and they loved it! Their prices are so good for their portions, the food comes out fast and piping hot, and the service was great. My aunt had never tried Vietnamese food before so she was lost as to what to order, but the waitress was more than patient with her, recommending different dishes that might interest her and asking what type of food she likes. They have so many different dishes to chose from if you don't want pho or sandwiches(they specialize in their sandwiches) and they have different sizing options for their pho. Nice place to bring the family for lunch and dinner
