Good quality and great tasting food. If you don't mind the lack of ambience, this place is a couple bucks cheaper than the other more prominent Chinese restaurants in town for the same dishes. It's one of those hole in the wall places.
Took a group of ladies to what l consider "fast Chinese food", however, the owner treats us as if they are a full-serve restaurant. With eight of us, he came to the table and took everyone's order. He served us drinks and was kind enough to leave a pitcher of ice water on the table for us. When he brought out our steaming hot, fresh cooked meals, he brought real metal forks to eat it with! No tiny plastic forks here. The food is very reasonably priced and very good.
My wife and I wandered into Imperial Express about eight years ago on a Friday night waiting for my son to finish a hip hop class he was taking in a nearby now defunct studio. We didn't expect much.
