Irene's is a great Cafe, I've been going there for years, it's very good feel good food and a great location in the tower district. And Maddie is a great waitress! Is she friendly knows her job and has great customer service skills. Keep up the great work. With waitresses like her and food like that I will always be going back

I kinda came on a whim and I did not regret it. The food was good but I loved the diner inside alot more. It was so cool with CD on the wall, and bunch of cool decorations. My watriess was also rlly nice! I forgot her name but she had a bunch of pens of her apron and she was really patient with my order(even when I got nervous)

I had country fried steak and eggs plate with potatoes and it was delicious so flavorful, the waitress nice, it was my first time eating here and I enjoyed.

I wanted a diner breakfast. And this was delicious. Service was great too.
My husband and I came in for lunch. I was very hungry. I ordered the grilled chicken salad with poppyseed dressing. I poured the poppyseed dressing on my salad and was unable to eat it. The dressing was terrible. I mentioned it to The waiter and they said I could order something else which I did. I waited for nearly 30 minutes for my replacement meal. In the meantime, I did eat Half of the chicken that came with the salad because I was starving. When we went to pay the bill, they charged me for the chicken which I thought was pretty crappy since they made me wait for 30 minutes for my replacement meal. I actually said this to the manager and was told that since I ate Half of it I had to pay for it. I told the manager that this was absolutely not about the money. It was the fact that they made me wait for 30 minutes. He was very dismissive of me. As a result, I have a bad taste in my mouth for this restaurant and will not be back. My husband and I used to come here often since we live close by. Never again.

I like Irene's cafe. They give you big portions. Though we didn't have to wait, it took them a while to serve our area. However, stuff is really nice.And the food is good.

The waiters were extremely friendly. The boots are too small. I felt so claustrophobic and confined sitting in the booths with someone next too me. The food was just average. The blood mary was delicious though. I had ordered the chicken fried steak with potatoes and biscuit and gravy. The gravy and biscuit was bland. It was my first time there, and I would not go here again.
