I had the spicy chicken and I’m not sure how something with so much seasoning can have so little flavor. You’re much better off going to the Mediterranean grill near down town.

A "sit & order" restaurant. The food is excellent. I recommend the Spicy Chicken, which has a nicely seasoned sauce, not spicy hot.
The OUTDOOR eating area is pleasant and shaded.
There's another Kabab City in Merced with the same tasty foods. It's a "cafeteria style" restaurant, the prices are $3 lower per dish, and no tip is expected. I like it better. ?

Can I just say that this place is my favorite in the area! My go-to lunch order is the chicken bowl that comes with salad, chicken, rice , and a bit of garlic sauce. Get an order of the hummus and don't forget extra bread!

Visited during vacation. Had the kebab combo and beef hummus the night before—- it was really delicious and the waitress was very welcoming and professional.
Today had pretty lousy service. Food not fully cooked - see pic. Told waitress and she asked if we want THAT specific piece recooked or replaced. No real apology or concern from her end. I told her to let the chef know but again didn’t hear back. No word from manager either. When we were pretty much done eating she just slammed down the the bill without asking if we would like anything else like dessert- just offered us water…. probably needs some retraining.
Food overall was pretty good. Very nice atmosphere as well overall.
Just watch your bites or you may end up with food poisoning.
