Flew in from arizona and that teriyaki tri-tip stood no chance. The flavor was top tier. Glad I came here ! I might have to stop here on the way back to the airport ! Great stuff

Okay I have been coming here for awhile thought it was time to do a review. The teriyaki bowls are wonderful, kenji's does not go cheap on filling the bowls. They are big and filled to the brim. You can get dark meat, white meat or mix of both. Even katsu chicken. The prices have gone up a bit since I started coming here. But the portions have stayed the same which is great. (some places, price goes up and portions go down). The tempura is great the sauces like teriyaki spicy mayo are all wonderful. Food comes of quick and hot 🔥.staff is good. I think the staff lady up front could Crack a smile but all around great food. Come here you won't regret it.

Kenji's food tastes delicious don't get me wrong. Im giving a 3 star because of my own experience. You know how society likes to joke about Taco Bell giving people diarrhea after eating their food? That's the case for me with Kenji. I don't know what it is within the ingredients they use but in 2 different occasions the Teriyaki chicken bowl AND plate have given diarrhea. Maybe my body is just weird and reacting to it differently from most people. I don't really know. Aside from the food, this lady cashier that takes my order always has a nasty attitude as If I'm annoying her. Im not someone who has 20 questions about the menu or anything like that, I usually keep it simple and just order what I want and move out the way. Anyways, I would give kenji's a solid 4 stars but because of how the food is for me, I just can't. BUT I DO recommend kenji's.

Stopped in on my way home to grab lunch for myself and my family. Had never been here before but it had good ratings on Google. I ordered teriyaki chicken bowls and a tri tip salad. My husband and son loved the chicken bowls. I ordered the mixed white and dark meat. My husband got the spicy sauce and I ordered a side of spicy mayo...so good. The salad is definitely not for just one person, it was a big salad! The tri tip was tender and delicious. They serve it with a house made dressing. It had a little too much ginger for me but not a deal breaker. I would for sure go back to try the other items on the menu.

I ordered a plate with steak and half katsu chicken. I personally preferred the steak, that was yummy. My husband loved the fish. I also recommend the spicy mayo, that went well when mixed with the spicy teriyaki. Next time I visit, I plant to order the steak plate with double rice, the spicy mayo, and a side of the fried fish for my husband.

My 1st time I went in to place an order, I was looking at the menu and the ladie at the cash register asked what I would like. I Saud this my first time and she rolls her eyes and said what do you want.. I ordered but she continued with her attitude. Not ever again. Chicken had no flavor even after I put the sauce the Chicken was flavorless..

The food was excellent as always. However, there was one very arrogant, sarcastic worker. This is not only bad for business, it’s bad for the morale of the hard-working, friendly workers that have to deal with this as well. Wanted you to be aware of this. Love your food and the rest of the staff.

I came in today with my grandma for a nice lunch and the food was absolutely phenomenal as always. I highly recommend the salmon and katsu chicken bowls! I usually have no problem when I come here with the service, but the woman working the front desk around noon was so mean. There was nobody behind us in line and my grandma had never eaten here before so she had a question about the chicken and the lady acted like it was an inconvenience that my grandma had questions.This made my grandma and I extremely uncomfortable. I still highly recommend the food here, it’s delicious! However the service was very unfriendly.

My food was sooo good. This will definitely be my go to teriyaki spot in Fresno. I ordered a tofu plate extra grilled (which some places wouldn't actually do because it can look burnt quickly) and it was perfect. The amount of tempura vegetables they give you for $8 is probably double what most places give and you can pick which veggies you get when ordering online. The only weird thing was 2 employees told me I didn't order a drink, but I did, I checked the confirmation email and the receipt they taped to the bag. It was fine because the cashier still gave it to me without hassle, but definitely odd. Overall, great spot for food and I look forward to going again.

I deducted 1 star ONLY because the seats are hard wood chairs and they don’t jive with old, arthritic, bone on bone bodies. LOL 😂

That aside, the prices are reasonable, the service is professional and from order to table the food arrived in under 5 minutes

The food did NOT disappoint! They offer regular and spicy teriyaki sauces, soy sauce and spicy mayo.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate, all dark meat, my friend ordered the same plate, all white meat. It comes with a generous helping of steamed white rice and a mix of tempura fried vegetables.

Kenji’s Teriyaki is definitely worth a stop on your “Foodie” adventure!
