I’ve been coming to this restaurant since 2017/18. I love their spicy chicken plate. I mix their sauce with their hot oil, and pour it over their white rice. I dip their chicken with the same mix. Delicious!!!! The staff is very attentive while dinning in, they work so hard. Definitely a must go if you’re in downtown Fresno area!! I try to pick up a plate every time I’m around for lunch.
First time dining here, and I will definitely be back , The service was friendly, and the food was delicious,
Great food combos for a great price 👍
Ok, went back recently and damn! Got better! The food is so great! If you’re around that area, you gotta go! Great food. A lil pricey, but worth it. The Yakisoba needs work, but the teriyaki chicken is good.
Consistently good food! Friendly fast service too.
I got old teriyaki chicken:( and the salad was dirty or old. Normally good place not sure what happened and the tables are soooooo sticky
Chicken ramen is mid
Great service food was great too!!
Came here for lunch with my friend. The place was nice and clean and the employees were very friendly. They ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken and I ordered Crispy Chicken.
I enjoyed the Crispy Chicken! Right amount of crispness and very tasty. Salad was also good, I ignored the vegs :P. THE BROWN SAUCE??? AMAZING OMG!!!
I didn't ask my friend about their food, but I can tell you this, they INHALED it in a matter of minutes, so I'm guessing it's good lol.
Good place to have lunch! Def would come back for that brown sauce lol.
I ordered the spicy chicken plate which comes with vegetables. The vegetables tasted like they were steamed in fabuloso. The napkin also smelled like it set next to a a bottle of fabuloso. I called and all the staff said was, they would let the kitchen know. My hard earned money down the drain!!!!

A staple of all professionals in the downtown area. I've worked at City Hall for 2 years, and there's not a day that goes by that someone, or more than likely more than a few people, come back after a little walk from kiku's with their delicious food.
Impossible to complain! The service is actually amazing. Impeccable service. The seating is always clean, and there's quite a lot of it to accommodate the massive influx of professional people from all walks of life who come to kiku's for some amazing teriyaki chicken.
To anyone who is a professional in the downtown area, or even someone who works or lives nearby, you all know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that kiku's is a big part of downtown. It should be a bannable offense to miss out on the #3! You get teriyaki chicken, as well as teriyaki beef, with their amazing sticky rice and lots of sweet vegetables.
And now on to the quick facts:
If you come to kiku's after a certain time in the evening, you run the risk of the food having stayed in the pot too long after lunch rush hour. They may be open afterwards, but they are fundamentally a lunch-focused establishment. If you buy any time before 2:00, in my opinion at least, the food will be fresh and absolutely delicious!
The drink dispenser has a good selection. Nothing fancy, but there are some good caffeinated options. I don't believe there are any uncaffeinated and low sugar options, though.
The drinks come in Styrofoam cups. They're of good size! The plates are also disposable, so it's easy to drop your food off in the correct bin, along with everything else, and be on your way back to work as quick as possible.
Be sure to put your waist in the correct bin! They have several.
This location is a good option for ordering with GrubHub or Uber eats or something like that. As I said though, not too late!
There are a good assortment of sizes of tables and booths. They have some that can accommodate as many as eight people, and some that can accommodate as few as two people.
They have a wide assortment of dishes to choose from! They are all focused on the lunch crowd, so most of them come on one plate and are easy to eat with chopsticks!
If you work at City Hall, you will often meet people that you know that work there as well. That should be the same for the county building, and many other large office buildings in the area. You will be in good company!
The teriyaki sauce is absolutely delectable. Enough said!
As I said before, the #3 is my top recommendation. Of course, there will be many other opinions from regulars!
Overall, 10/10! Easily one of my five favorite restaurants in Fresno County in general.
Thanks to the staff for always being there for my delicious lunches. Keep being the best in town!!
Parking: It's better to walk here from work. Parking can be competitive.
Kid-friendliness: This is mostly a professional lunch establishment. That being said, kids would absolutely love the delicious food, fun atmosphere, and fancy looking work outfits! The staff are always very kind.

I went in today for the first time today & I was disappointed. I ordered vegetable ramen & beef ramen. The ramen didn’t look presentable at all the broth had no flavor. Also the beef ramen didn’t have any flavor either. I also ordered a chicken teriyaki rice plate I don’t understand why they serve it on paper plates especially when you dine in. I also don’t understand why they don’t put spoons in the utensils area I had to ask for a spoon for my ramen. As I was walking to the restroom today the floor was very slippery near the fountain drinks. There were other customers who almost slipped.
