Best mochi I’ve had throughout California! The mochi itself is very soft and almost melts in your mouth. There are very yummy and interesting fillings as well, like the real fruit filling! Nice little place in an unexpected location. Would travel to Fresno just for this!

Probably the best mochi I’ve tried (better than the ones I’ve had in Japan)! And the price was great. Would love to come back again

The mochi is melt in your mouth soft with just the right amount of chew that makes a mochi delightful. They have rotating flavors based on what fruits are in season. We had the strawberry one which was filled with two super sweet and juicy strawberries. The traditional red and white bean ones were similarly exquisite, all at only $2! Simply a treat and one of Fresno’s best gems.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Was visiting from LA and my aunt wanted to try this place. Got here early and got one of everything! A bit disappointed that they didnt have plain mochi (i.e. rainbow dango, kinako mochi).STOREFRONT: Small, currently require guests to wear masks.ORDERED: Mochi with mung bean, mochi with red bean, mochi wihth fruit filling (cinnamon apple, apricot, peach). The fruit filling is jam-like and a bit sweet.SERVICE: Service was good, and they were friendly.

If you want to taste some Oriental Fresno history then I encourage you to go try some amazing Japanese goodies here. We ordered several different items and we loved everything we tried. You can taste the love, care, tradition and history in each bite. It's a very small place, they do sell out of things pretty fast and they do require that customers mask up.

Wear mask if your not her kind..3 japanese ladies came in the same time as us but was first to order, we waited til they're done ordering. She talked to them and then us afterwards, told us to wear mask but not them. I was piss but wanted to try some original mochi, its okay. First and will be my last time

Right off of 99. Seems like the old side of town... In a bit of a rundown area. Only take cash and no bills higher than a 20.
Best shaved ice. Been going since I was a child.

Ben and Diane brought me here. They gave me a few of your manju and they were delicious! Never had fruits in my manju, but they worked well. Thank you!

Perfect place for mochi. The people who work there are kind to others.
Very small old Asian folk store. Was there for their mochi. Its amazing. Amazing good and it's only $1.50 each. Be there early cuz they don't make more , what they got in the morning is what they got. The Bao are okay but I was there for mochi. Got a lot of Bao cuz I thought there were mochi too.
