Was excited to check out this location. Was greeted by an employee with a horrible attitude. Constantly assumed I was finished ordering and interrupted me with the total when I was asking questions about menu items. Did not warm up our pastries, no napkins, there was a cookie under my sandwich. I love the downtown area but Ill be sticking the fig garden

I've been trying to hang in this spot since forever and finally did. It's located in downtown outside of the pacific southwest building. La boulangerie has another location in fig garden, which I've had tried before. So good. I was curious to see if it would be the same at this establishment. They have a pretty big menu of food items and coffee drinks. The ham and cheese croissant was a fav. I ordered a cinnamon roll thinking it was going to be a plain cinnamon roll because that's all it says on the menu, but it had raisins. I was a little disappointed that I wasn't told it had raisins so I asked them if they had plain ones and they said no. So I got an almond croissant instead. It was very yummy. I enjoyed eating outside. It was very clean. I will be back to enjoy the outdoors while eating some yummy pastries or I'll try their lunch items.

The food is great here and the pastries are divine. We order a lot of pastries for our work events and birthdays here and they are always fresh and delicious!

Undependable hours. This location often puts up a sign saying "be back at 11:50" etc so can not depend they will be open. Also will yell you no lunch until 11 and then you see them selling them at 1030 next time.

I had been waiting a long time to try this place. They have prime location and potential for more. There is no indoor seating area and the outside seating that is available looks like it's been let go and minimal effort has gone into it. Not to mention the hours are very limited. How do you propose to reinvigorate an area like Downtown Fresno when you sell yourself short. Their food options were very limited as well. Their walk up window does not merit their prices. Looks like any other walk up window. Pretty disappointed.

It's a walk up window in a great building.. I was looking for a French bakery but this ... fed the croissant monkey on my back... addiction satisfied

La Boulangerie is one of my favorite weekend morning spots in Fresno. You can have a great cup of coffee and enjoy a fresh pastry on the patio. I highly recommend enjoying a cup of coffee just relaxing at this Fresno. Always a nice experience.

La Bou is one of the best things about fresno. The pastries are scrumptious, especially the scones, biscotti, and croissants. There is always a huge line and people are crazy about this place, which is the reason i think La Bou has the horrible customer service it does--because they know (like me) people will continue to come back regardless. Whatever, as long as they keep making delicious pastries, ill shut up and take the abuse.
