We showed up 20 mins prior to closing time and they were still very welcoming. The food was fresh and delicious.

The chicken was actually really good, and the sticky rice portion was the right amount, unlike other local spots. The egg rolls were mediocre. It was mainly vegetable with very little pork in it. So more of a vegetable egg roll. The reason why I gave it a 3-star only was because of the crispy pork belly. It was so overcooked, dry, and bland that when I took a bite, I didn't even want to eat it anymore. I'm not sure why I even took it home when it was going straight to the trash. I was so disappointed because my wife and I hadn't eaten the entire day, and I was looking so much forward to it because of the awesome reviews of the restaurant. The pork was probably one of the most expensive items on the menu as well. It wasn't even busy when we got there, and I'm just not sure how they were able to mess that up? Would I still go there? Yes, for the chicken and nothing else. Other than the food. The workers had good customer service, and the restaurant was clean, but a lot of inventory on the wall, which can be very distracting.

The pho here is super salty. it wasn't even enjoyable. But all their other food was good. Wouldn't recommend pho if you want any

I am disappointed.I ordered sweet spicy chicken with half chow mein/fried rice. First impression, of the chicken hard, not fresh and the flavor is more on the sweet side. Possibly overcooked, the texture seems to be something that was microwaved. A heavy use of soy sauce on all dish. Especially, on the fried rice. Very mushy. The vegetables to noodles ratio is outweighed. If I wanted this much veggies on my food, I would have ordered a side. Is it a place I will return? Possibly not. The choice of sauces is minimal, no chili sauce and packaged.

Came here for first time ever and probably first time for Laotian food. Got the sticky rice with crispy pork belly and beef larb and the egg rolls. The pork belly was good portion and the skin was VERY crispy, borderline a bit too hard of a crunch. The larb was full of fresh mint and herbs but medium level spice was definitely spicy for me but probably ok for others. Egg rolls were excellent and can tell freshly made with vermicelli, veggie and meat. Got mango sticky rice at the end which was delicioussssss. Pandan like coconut cream to dip / pour. Fresh Thai iced tea also good and sweet. Will come back to try the noodle soup as every table had it! We just winged it when we got here upon ordering. Service- you order at counter and then they bring to your table. One employee was not the most friendly but it is what it is. Plenty of parking. There's a good crowd on weekend but no big wait.

Went to try out the food cause we heard it was good but we must have heard wrong. Me and my fiancé walked in and we weren't even greeted. The lady at the front was looking at her phone and just waited for us to start ordering. We ordered the orange chicken and sweet and spicy chicken with fried rice along with the papaya salad. All the food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Papaya salad just tastes like fish sauce and overly salty. Hard and dry chicken (with some only being flour/dough), sweet and spicy chicken had barely any sauce, and it was warm. Obviously not cooked in a pan. The "fried" rice was not fried in pan either cause there was no sort of oil or butter in the rice and there were large amounts of white. It looked liked steamed rice mixed with veggies and soy sauce. All that with two drinks for $50. Food is not fresh, overpriced, and overrated.

The service wasn't that great. They don't serve you at the table and they don't give you water, just a small water cup. The food was not that bad .

You have to order at the front before sitting down! Came here on a Friday night around 6. Pretty packed, hard to find parking but I think it's because this place is right next to a GB3. The inside is small, a bit crowded but I think it was just because it was so packed. I ordered the heavenly jerky, I think it probably the best Laos jerky I've had in Fresno! It pairs great with the jeol. Again, I also think that their jeol is the best bought one I've ever had. Making jeol at home is always good but now I know if I want some and am not up for making it, I can always buy it here at LA kitchen! The heavenly jerky is sweet, savory, and not chewy. For being a jerky, it was very easy to tear. Came out pipping hot, like they just got done deep frying it! Pork belly: not the biggest fan. A lot of the piece were straight up fat, hardly no meat. Was a bit cold, because it was a bit cold, the fatty pieces weren't the most appetizing. Chicken larb: very good! I personally like how they make it, it has a lot of that roasted rice powder flavor. Next time I'll get their raw beef larb! The flavor profile might be a little too strong to those who don't eat larb as often, but to each their own. It is a bit over powering, salty, and savory. The only thing I'd say is, I wished it had more herbs! But that's okay. Thai tea: pretty average. More on the milky side. Service: 10/10. Owner came out and asked how everything was going, how everything tasted despite being super super busy. Really nice and friendly over here at LA Kitchen.

LA kitchen is our "feel good food" haven't had one bad experience going here. Whether eating in or taking food to go, the food is always consistent. Everyone is nice here and the seating is comfortable for small or large groups. If you haven't tried it here, you have to!
