If you're craving real Mexican food, this is the spot to go. My family and I love their carnitas, or adobada tortas (sandwiches), they have more meat choices like beef asada, and chicken. They also have a small buffet bar with comfort food like meatballs or lentil soups, chile verde, cheese stuffed poblano peppers, rice, refried beans, etc. The dine-in is always neat.

The worse $20 lunch! Taco and burrito was not separated from the enchilada. Both taco and burrito was engulfed in enchilada sauce. Asada meat had lots of nerve. First time trying this place & last.

I never been to this restaurant before. And i will not go again. I ordered a taco salad. It was piled with lettuce. The meat was burnt and it was cold. They had the audacity to charge $15.49 for it too. I would not recommend this restaurant. Save your money!

Love this place ! You can order from the menu or they have a small buffet and everything is so good . The staff here is so nice which makes it even better. If your downtown try this place . Highly recommend

La torta is the perfect place for lunch if you're in downtown. You have your choice of a great lunch buffet or you can choose from their selection of other dishes on the menu
No five on service but the food was good. I barely made it to a toilet so I assume there's a lot of oil in the rice. Would go back.

First time going to La Torta, I was not dissapointed. Food was great and so was the service. Norma’s was our waitress. She went out of her way. Clean place will definitely go again.Parking: We paid meter parking but does accept credit card. We had no change. After we found that they had parking for customers.

I had the Carne asada torta, it was bomb! The bread is so good I could eat just that bread and be happy, and the ladies are very nice.

Friendly welcoming staff , we went for lunch, buffet was delicious I had their home made empanadas, carne/ chile verde, chile de molcajete, arroz, frijoles cosidos. And agua de jamaica. Most of all the food tasted like it was freshly made. Ambiance was welcoming, melow music. Very clean, well kept.
