Honestly, I was expecting less due to tons of people that I knew would tell me that Lee's was not what it was said to be. Not going to lie, I almost didn't recommend it to my friends, but I knew 1 of my friends was a vegetarian, so this place came to my head. Why not give it a try.Well, I ordered the #11, and it went pretty well.The meat was delicious. The jalapeños were dead on, and the sauce wasn't half bad. Everything went well until I took a bite with everything and the bread... that was the only disappointing thing for me.I just don't think it was crunchy enough???... Maybe it's just me, but for mine, it didn't give a crunch when I bit down on the sandwich.The bread was a bit chewy...Like I said, maybe it was just mine??? Anyways, aside from that, I actually enjoyed the sandwich. All the other ingredients were dead on!Also, I got the lychee tea drink, it was good, but oh man! It was sweet. So if you aren't ready for super sweet, hold your horses.Other than that, it went well, the people were nice, and the atmosphere was great. And it was really, really clean! For sure, just for that, I probably will come back again.

I recommend the bbq pork ban mi from lees sandwiches. I’m not a huge pork fan but this sandwich has the right marinade and seasoning it’s not spicy it’s not salty it’s a unique flavor and I can’t have it without some of the sweet n sour sauce it makes it 10X better!!! I tried out the regular Vietnamese ice coffee they have, it is a bit strong for my taste as I do like mine a tiny bit more milky and sweet but it definitely will do if you need an energy boost.

I feel like I need to give this spot another chance just based on their extensive menu. I've been wanting to come in to try their basic Banh Minh. I love a good basic Banh Minh. I ordered the combination and a chicken meat pie. I intended to order the spring rolls since I love them and want to try whenever they're on a menu. Well, I forgot once I got up to order :( My sandwich had an off putting taste so I put it in the fridge to get cold and eat for breakfast. I liked it better cold but still felt there was an off putting taste. I scraped off the pate thinking that was it but no. Maybe the pickled veg? I don't know. I'm willing to try something else but I don't get up this way often so ... I like the chicken meat pie and would still like to try other items from the large menu.

After reading some reviews maybe it not for everyone I gave it a try today and I was impressed. It very good and fresh was greeted with professionalism. I got me the #11 and it didn’t disappoint I definitely will be back.

Got the combo banh mi sandwich and chicken banh mi. My combo sandwich was OK; it was definitely not the best banh mi sandwich I've ever ate. I feel the sandwiches are very Americanized. Paid approximately $7 a sandwich. Good size sandwiches though. The sandwich was kind of bland and had too much of that pig cheese spread or whatever it was in it which i was not fond of.My daughter couldn't stomach the chicken sandwich after seeing the inside. She took a bite and did not like it. I tried the chicken banh mi, myself, and found that it tasted like there was a lot of mayonnaise. The sandwiches do not have the asian flavors I was expecting, probably because they are trying to cater to the students' palates since its in the same shopping plaza as Fresno States market and dorms. Unfortunately I can't recommend the sandwiches at this time. I have to give the food 2 stars.The #1 coffee was pretty good though. I got the regular size for about $5. I t was a little sweeter than what im used to however I would go back for that.Place was clean and well maintained. Good appearance. Staff was nice and service was quick. Not many people when we went. Parking is ok, but keep in mind it is difficult to find parking in this area on busy days.

So by the time you get home to eat it, the bread is drenched and soggy ?? plus, what kind of banh mi sandwich doesn’t have cucumber?? Everything was tasteless, the Thai tea was vibrant orange and didn’t taste like it came from a tea bag

I just want to say that the people that work here are so polite! We ordered online but decided to just sit and eat our sandwiches in house. The food was fresh and delicious and consistent with the other times I’ve had Lee’s in the past in Irvine. Excellent and kind service.
I been here twice had the turkey sandwich on slice bagel bread the 1st time and the 2nd time I had the tune on slice bagel bread and the mango tea. so far I love this place everything nice and clean and excellent customer service. I will be back.

Great service, food is excellent! The baguettes are unlike any other place I've gone to get bread very soft inside toasted on outside and good taste. Customer service was great very nice employees!
