This is my go to when I want pizza on a Friday or Saturday night. If you love Me N Ed’s style pizza this place does the same thing but it comes out way betters no thin cardboard pizza here. Every slice is super thick and tastes

Delicious pizza we got an XL combination and Large pepperoni the crust is crispy the pizzas are full of flavor very similar to Me n Ed's. We have had there calzones and pizzas for years they are always delicious I will keep coming back

Always clean and fast service. Pizza is cooked in oven brick oven and dough is made fresh. It's always packed with lots of toppings and cheese. The calzones are really yummy too. One of the best pizza places in Fresno.

Read the worst reviews first. Be careful of the online prices and expect to pay more. We did pay more, and told the proprietor that would be fine because we had read the reviews and were expecting to be pleased. Not so much! We asked for our 3 topping pizza to be cooked so that the pepperoni would be toasted around the edges. It was not. It was more like just sliced and not much cooked. The crust however was overcooked and dried out to resemble a baked cardboard. The topping was sparse and there was a 2 inch strip around the edge with no topping. The other pizza, a combo, was also so-so, but the cardboard crust was not dried out. The store is located in the Ghetto with a share of homeless and others loitering around. I wouldn't want my wife to go there, and one order of their food is enough for me. You have been warned.

I've received numerous recommendations for Lela's Pizza from both my staff and the students I work with, as it's a local favorite among many of them. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try one day, and I must say, I was not disappointed. While the service left something to be desired, understandable given its small-scale operation and location in a less than ideal area, the gentleman I interacted with seemed somewhat absent. Nevertheless, the pizza more than made up for any shortcomings in service. If I were to draw a comparison in terms of taste, I would liken it to Me n Eds, although I believe Lela's surpasses it in quality and affordability. While Me n Eds has seen a decline in quality over the years, accompanied by rising prices, Lela's offers a comparable taste experience at half the cost. I would give it a solid 8 out of 10.

They have a special for a large one topping pizza for $12.99 for carry out but when I called, they wanted to charged me $17.99, I had to argue for them to give it to me for the special price. It was very upsetting, I won't order from there again. Why have a special when you're not going to honor it!?!?!?

Pleasantly surprised.Tonight I ordered a 16-in combination supreme with extra cheese and extra sauce. I had this pizza delivered and I was pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of toppings and the pizza was very good. I especially enjoyed the crust. It was crispy crunchy on the bottom toward the edges and I really like that.This was the first time I have ordered from Lela's and I'll be sure to go again.Thank you Leila : )

This use to be the spot. My family and I have come here for years! We have always enjoyed their food…. Until the last year or so. Inconsistent, undercooked at times, sloppy cuts, inaccurate wait times. I think what really put them over for me is today we ordered a veggie supreme for dinner and the veggies were huge! Like, comically huge. Super lazy cuts, pizza was a little soggy because of how big the veggies were so it ended up steaming the cheese and making it a little gross. Also, you would think with the veggies steaming the cheese and making it watery that the veggies cooked… well, you would be wrong. The veggies were still raw.I think we might be done with Leila's for a while. Hopefully they raise the bar again on their quality and step it up.
