In my opinion: the food was overpriced, portions were small, avocados were either old or hard, shrimps were not all properly deveined, service was slow, and the prices on the menu were not accurate.

My me and my husband stopped in to get our food to go. What I didn't like about this place, first off it was too expensive. Me and husband both ordered simple combination plates,With nothing to drink and it ran us over$30.00. The plate consisted of a one taco, one enchilada, and rice and beans. The other thing I didn't like about this place is it wasn't very friendly or hospitable. Maybe the woman was just have g a bad day, I even wondered if it was because I wasn't Mexican. Everyone spoke to each other in Spanish. I wanted pico de gallo, but didn't get none, the hot sauce hey did give me was terrible, $30 plus flushed away, and I was really disappointed. It was my first time and my last eating lety'.s

The service was great, but cocido was ok, I could tell it was a bit old. Vegetables very soggy and only had an out t a tablespoon of beef. I did enjoy that they make corn tortillas by hand.
Waited 30 min to get food & it wasn't even busy. The chips had a weird taste, salsa was even worse. Got the enchiladas combo plate, rice had no flavor at all, enchiladas tasted like marinara/tomato sauce. My Chile relleno was watery I didn't even finish my food. Only thing is waitresses were nice. I would never waste my money here again though.

Literally full hour wait, staff should’ve presented extensive wait time. Nothing like Clinton & Chestnut location (fast and efficient). Could’ve dined in and had complimentary chips and water, at no point by staffing any humility, humble act or compensation. Hardly anyone there to have to wait. Probably one chef back there but man ridiculous experience. Will just have to drive halfway cross town to get or eat food faster. Have been to Lety’s Clinton and Chestnut numerous times. Just wanted to give the smaller location a shot, terrible mistake never again. Lesson learned.2nd review after opening foodAsk for molcajetes no napales, ensure that this is the all meats version, so means not seafood molcajete version. The all meat chorizo, asada, chicken, make sure the queso is in there.Not the molcajete I ordered. Before you pack the bag, you should present what we are leaving with.Will expect a refund, would like for a management response as well. Time wasted and terrible experience.
