I arrived at Lola’s with innocent hopes of satisfying my hunger. The smell of sizzling meat and warm tortillas filled the air and everything seemed perfect. I picked up my taco, excited for the first bite, but as I lifted the tortilla slightly something horrifying revealed itself. Sitting proudly among the cilantro and onions was a roach. Not just a small one either. This roach looked like it paid rent there. For a moment I just stared in disbelief as my brain tried to process what I was seeing. My appetite instantly vanished and my soul practically left my body. The taco that once looked delicious suddenly became a scene straight out of a nightmare. The roach seemed completely unbothered too, just chilling there like it was part of the recipe. I couldn’t help but imagine the crunch I might have experienced if I hadn’t looked first, which somehow made the whole situation even worse. Needless to say I slowly placed the taco down and backed away like I had just discovered a biological hazard. I came looking for good tacos and instead got a traumatic experience that I will probably remember every time I see a tortilla for the rest of my life

Tried to over charge Dont answer the phone Gave me plain tacos with no toppings Put random toppings on other tacos Im so irritated couldn't even get my order fixed . Lady didn't seem to understand anything. My order was easy all my tacos were supposed to be the same . No special order just exactly how they are supposed to be made .

I have been going there for years and today I saw two different ladies working there that I have never saw before. I ordered a Burrito and after a few bites I saw something black and it was a dead fly. I spit all my food out and immediately threw it all away. I will never eat there again.

I love this spot, the best taco spot in all of Fresno, mainly because the food tastes great but the price is also amazing just like their tacos. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to get some good food around the area or it's even worth the trip if you're on the other side of town. Like that.

Went here today 7-5-25 and made a big mistake, I forgot they switched up the tortillas now to these little awful tasting one's. So what I had to end up doing was transferring the food to a couple flour tortillas I had at home. If the owner sees this please go back to the tortillas you've always used because those one's were the reason people liked your taco's. Won't be back for taco's, burritos or tortas, maybe.
The food is always really good but the service could be better. The location on Ashlan we get better service there, on Blackstone sometimes they can be a little short. I understand we all have our days, no one is perfect I just notice it more on Blackstone. Maybe it's this location. Overall, you get authentic Mexican food for affordable prices.
