I had never had authentic gorditas so I was really excited to try them, and had a great experience backed by a family-owned legacy. The food is delicious and there are lots of fillings. With so many restaurants doing the same thing it is nice to try something new - go and try for yourself!

This place is so delicious, it's a little hard to park because it's on the side of a busy street (Clinton) but worth the stop, I recommend to order ahead of time so you don't have to wait much, because it's two ladies working the place, very sweet and helpful. The place is small and very clean, you can see them making your orders in the back, no tables to sit and eat, just order and go. Fresh made to order, my favourites are the chorizo, and queso con raja and corn, so yummy! The red salsa that comes with it is not overly spicy, more for flavor, it compliments the gorditas. I also really like their sopa, that's one of the sides they offer. Anyways come check this mom pop shop out and let me know how you liked them, I go at least twice a month, super affordable, 2 gorditas combo mix and match for under 8 bucks.

Very friendly family orientated environment. The wait time was short. The menu was easy to read and prices were good for the amount of food. I got to try all the gordotas expect for the rajas one. My favorite was the chorizo one. Flavor was soo good. The only thing I would have to say is that. I would have loved some options in sauce so that I can pour onto my gorditas but that's just me. They do have a sauce but I have to be honest it was not my favorite.

They are so friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious and priced accordingly. I loved the chicharron one best, but also had the rajas and picadillo rojo which were also very good and flavorful! Definitely will be going back.

I was craving something homemade that tasted like my moms cooking. I found this place thanks to DoorDash and automatically was drawn to the pictures. I love gorditas and they looked good. I ordered the carne molida with papas, chicarrón prensado and veggie. They were all so good! I was very happy with my order. Although I didn't care for the sopa de coditos (their version of Mac & cheese) I was still happy. The salsa that came with the order was good too. Will def be eating Lucy's Gorditas again.
