I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment and feel compelled to share my concerns. As a Black customer, I was treated unfairly and with a clear lack of respect. I waited patiently for over 30 minutes without being acknowledged, while others were served promptly. A friend even paid and tipped the staff to ensure we received our drinks — six double shots of 1942 — yet it was evident that my business was not valued.
Prior to this incident, two visibly intoxicated white women caused a disturbance by knocking over a table and breaking glass, but they were not asked to leave. However, when I calmly tried to address the lack of service, the bartender refused to serve me, and both my friend and I were physically handled by security without cause.
This experience left me feeling humiliated and discriminated against. No guest should be made to feel unwelcome or unsafe due to the color of their skin. I hope management takes this matter seriously and implements changes to ensure fair and respectful treatment for all patrons.

Hours are not accurate wouldn't trust if you plan to go after 10 it was closed at 11 on Monday. (Edit) Now they're acting like I didn't walk in and get told that they were closed this might be a thing where the workers get too lazy to stay open for the time they're supposed to and deny people entry. I'm 100% sure it was 11:20pm on a Monday and I'm 100% sure it was Lucy's lounge because I checked 3 times to make sure I wasn't at the wrong place while sitting outside deciding where me and my friends were going to go.

I was in town for Labor day weekend, so my friends told me about Lucy's Lounge.
We decided to go out on Saturday, to my surprise the food, music was amazing. It is a very inviting, friendly place. Most importantly the service was beyond amazing, our server was Lucy and she keep the drinks coming and is very friendly and her personality is top notch. By the time we were heading out she even wished me safe travels back home.
Because of her service alone I will definitely beck back in February when I'm in town again to say hi to her and enjoy the atmosphere.

I’ve been a regular for many years and enjoyed being there until tonight. I was treated with the most disrespect I have ever received. The bartenders there have no customer service and they are very rude and unprofessional they kicked me out cause I was charged twice when I should of been charged once i urge you all to not go there unless you support a business that treats people and regulars like trash

Trully a gem, definitely my favorite bar in all of tower district great bartenders who are always so kind and considerate amazing place plus it's attached to a mama mias pizza that has great food and employees over there are just as nice
Let me start by saying the music and atmosphere is great! Your service is prompt for the most part. HOWEVER, your staff, particularly your MANAGER Michael and one of your staff members serving drinks, skinny lady with yellow hair, they were very very rude. Michael needs a vast amount of training to hold that title, you can't be condescending, standoffish and rude to paying customers. He really made our group feel as if we were a nuisance to your establishment. I will let you know as a person who has gone to your establishment and spent im sure what is more than his salary, because of him and your staff member you have lost my business. Please train your staff that all CUSTOMERS matter and If a customer has questions or concerns about a bill then have the patience to go through the bill with that customer not just tell them you have other customers waiting to discharge because you want to go home. To ensure any discredibility your staff will use against me please refer to your cameras to the timestamp of possibly 12:45am until closing about 1:30am for Saturday/sunday (3/17-3/15/2025). I am sure you will find Michael's dismissive and rude behavior on camera.

I fully understand there's a dress code to enforce but a face tattoo code? For the first time ever going to Lucy's I was told by security I'm not be able to enter due to my face tattoos apparently. I didn't make a big deal out of it I just went next door to Bobby's Salazar and was welcomed with open arms there and enjoyed my night at peace without feeling wrongfully profiled by my appearance.
