Magic Lamp Mediterranean Grill

I took my parents to dinner in hope of a decent kabab dinner. Restaurant seemed aweful empty(1st sign). However we wanted to give it a chance and ordered the combo meal for 3-4 people. When asked by the waitress, we ordered our red meats of medium temperature along with 2 starters.Well, they brought us a salad without plates, the entree arrived before the starters and all meats were well done, over salted and dry.The owner, manager and wait staff did not care about our dislike and could not wait for us to leave. After, I had voiced my concern, the manager/ owner tried to avoid us like the pest, did not follow up with us and avoided eye contact by all means. In the end we did not even receive an apology. We left 3/4 of the meal and will never return. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.

I came here on a Friday afternoon. The place was not very busy and I got my food in a reasonable amount of time. The food was tasty but not really something to write home about. The meat choices that I saw were beef and chicken. The rice did not impress me. I would say overall the food quality was average to above average.The thing that bothered me though is when I went back to the men's restroom and saw all of the greasy handprints on the restroom door going in that had apparently been there for a long time. This is not an old building but the restroom reminded me of a hole in the wall gas station along an Old highway. The toilet and the urinal were both filthy. They were dirty top to bottom and inside they were crusty. I just hope the old saying is not correct that the kitchen is normally as clean as the restroom. After seeing the condition of this restroom I will not go back to the restaurant. It was not a matter of someone forgetting to clean it for one day. I doubt it's been cleaned well for a long time.

Food and service was great! Excellent portion sizes, well seasoned, and worth the value. Definitely coming back!

This lamp is the most magical. It will light up your life (in the way awesome food is really, really good).

This place is very good. I had the vegetarian plate and really enjoyed everything. The falafel was crispy, flavorful and had a nice texture. The tabouli was good with much higher percent of parsley than wheat which is best. The hummus and baba ghanoush were just fantastic. Mediterranean food is a go to for me because I travel frequently for work and it is a reliable source of vegetarian meals. From all the places I have been all over the us over this place is in the top three.

Great restaurant! All of the dishes I have tried here are really good but one that stands out as the best is the Spicy Chicken Kabob. It is a decently sized meal and the chicken, peppers, and onions are covered in very tasty sauce with a mild heat to it. It is kind of like a fusion of an Asian stir fry and delicious Mediterranean chicken kabobs. I highly recommend you try that dish out!

Overpriced foodI was expecting big things when I walked into this restaurant considering that it promises to offer Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine. If you have eaten traditional Mediterranean/Greek/Lebanese food before, you will know the difference between authentic Mediterranean food and those that attempt to impersonate food from that region and for me it was the latter. There is no way the Shawarma that was offerered came off a traditional rotating spit. It was more like chicken - fajitas style. I ordered the spicy chicken kabob plate and the sauce tasted like sweetened Panda Express sauce. I am disappointed because I feel that the price paid for the food does not justify the quality nor authenticity of the food.

Great service, the servers were on it. Unfortunately the food was very plane! No seasonings, no flavor, even the pita bread had no flavor. (definitely not homemade!) I wish for more bold flavors at the magic lamp. If you’re scared but wanna try new foods, this is a great starting place.

Delicious and hearty portion sizes for lunch menu. Definitely recommended. May seem surprising, but I personally would have preferred a bit less meat and a little more rice.

Great service!!! Came in as a group of about 7 they accommodated the tables so we could fit got our orders in and on our tables in a timely fashion our drinks were never empty waitress was on top of everything when we ordered anything extra she notes it down with a smile and a no problem and had it to us very quick food was awesome sauce for me was a little different than what I'm used to but that's not saying it was bad

The best place in town for Lamb Chops!! Service is always good and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxing. The owner is on site checking on things which is nice. Highly recommend eating here!

Absolutely the best Mediterranean food for someone who is gluten intolerant. I was able to order a comple meal without cutting out a single ingredient! Doesn't hurt that the food is delicious and the staff are friendly either.
