A wonderful night out with friends. Our reserved table was waiting for us. The wait staff was very informative but not bothersome. The food was well portioned and delicious. The atmosphere is charming and can give a romantic dinner, a business meeting or a night out with friends a memorable evening.

Just not the same as when they were newly opened. Took Deli away witch made the experience unique. For a first time dinner. Yes its good. But the menue never changes and food is same all there competitors. NOT UNIQUE ENOUGH anymore. They need to stand out.

Came here for the first time yesterday (1/18/2026) for my sister’s baby shower. The food was decent, but unfortunately the service really took away from the experience. The waitress who handled our party was noticeably passive-aggressive and unprofessional. I’m not sure if she struggles with large groups or if it was just an off day, but her attitude made things uncomfortable. Simple courtesy was lacking throughout the service. One moment that stood out to me was when I handed her my ticket and thanked her directly, only to hear her say “thank Valerie” who is my mom. While my mom did cover most of the bill for the whole party, It felt dismissive not to acknowledge me after I had directly thanked her. Overall, the service negatively impacted what should have been a positive experience. I hope management addresses this, because the restaurant itself has potential, but the level of service we received was disappointing.

Max’s Bistro & Bar is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your experience great.
The food is outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was perfectly cooked and thoughtfully prepared, and the menu offers something for everyone. The drinks were just as impressive, crafted with care and creativity.

Max's is a wonderful place to enjoy both the ambience and cuisine. Their bread and olive oil and vinaigrette were delicious as was their food! I will definitely be eating there again!

Made a reservation for 4 people @ 6pm. Seated immediately in the side area, separate from the main dining area. However, we had to move because there was a big, rowdy party (in room near front door). The hostess was very gracious and moved us to the back room away from the loud crowd. We ordered two items from the nightly specials. New York steak and Alaskan Halibut. Both very delicious. Steak cooked perfectly, medium rare. Special prices seemed a bit high. Service was excellent. Don't know why they asked if this was a special occasion. It was!! A double celebration of milestone birthdays, which I stated on the 0n-line reservation.

This is my favorite restaurant. Food is outstanding. I like that they box leftovers for you. The price for a glass of wine is reasonable. The molten cake is the best dessert! I would highly recommend.
