Max's is a wonderful place to enjoy both the ambience and cuisine. Their bread and olive oil and vinaigrette were delicious as was their food! I will definitely be eating there again!
Made a reservation for 4 people @ 6pm. Seated immediately in the side area, separate from the main dining area. However, we had to move because there was a big, rowdy party (in room near front door). The hostess was very gracious and moved us to the back room away from the loud crowd. We ordered two items from the nightly specials. New York steak and Alaskan Halibut. Both very delicious. Steak cooked perfectly, medium rare. Special prices seemed a bit high. Service was excellent....
This is my favorite restaurant. Food is outstanding. I like that they box leftovers for you. The price for a glass of wine is reasonable. The molten cake is the best dessert! I would highly recommend.
