There’s a reason for the long line. And trust me that wait is 100% worth it. With every visit I try something new on the menu, and I’ve never been disappointed.
I would highly recommend going early or ordering ahead of time through their Instagram. Once they’re out, they’re out.

The BBQ is some of the BEST I have ever had. I had the tri-tip sandwich, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. The cornbread is a dessert. So good and moist. The owner sat down at my table while eating and he was so nice. He explained the business choices of times and locations. He has a great business. So much better than any other BBQ in Fresno and honestly probably the state.

The absolute best brisket I’ve had this side of the Rio Grande. As a transplant from Texas, you could not wish for more authentic, proper, or delicious TX bbq this far west. Actually smoked, with a sweet AND spicy sauce, genuinely delicious beans, and no regard for diet or calories, the way the gods intended. Gold star, but maybe have someone picking up the phone sometimes? lol

Tried this place for lunch today. It did not disappoint. Got the 4 meat plate with brisket, pork belly, sausage and chili verde ribs. All the meats were good and the spicy bbq sauce was legit. Get there or order your pick up order early because they will run out of what you want if you get there too late or place your order too late. Parking is a little tight, but there's free parking on the street if the lot is full. Planning to order from here for the office lunch next month.

We had tri tip sandwich and pull pork sandwich. Tri tip very yummy. Buns are kings hawaiian buns, not sure I liked for a bbq sandwich. Food good, I did not care for the beans I felt they needed more flavor. Bbq sauce was good

First-Time Visit — Worth the Hype (Mostly!)

I visited this spot for the first time after a co-worker raved that it’s the best BBQ in town. We initially tried calling in an order, but the line was busy. Online ordering wasn’t working either, so we decided to go in person.

We arrived around 12:45 PM and waited in line until 1:14 PM to place our order. By the time we reached the counter, they were already out of beans, chicken lollipops, and macaroni — which must be amazing because they were completely sold out! They do offer cups to serve yourself iced water which helps with how hot it is inside.

I ended up ordering the tri-tip sandwich with a side of pilaf rice. The total came to $26.16 (including a $3 tip). Let me just say — the tri-tip sandwich was incredible. Tender, flavorful, and the spicy BBQ sauce took it to another level. The toasted bread! Dayum! Was perfection with a buttery crunch. One of the best I’ve ever had. On the other hand, the pilaf was underwhelming — bland and soggy, lacking even basic seasoning.

A big shout-out to Rosa, one of the employees, who went above and beyond. She kept the dining area clean, made sure the BBQ station was stocked, and provided excellent customer service. She also let us know that online orders can be placed through their Instagram page.

The dining area was quite packed, with no designated waiting area and poor ventilation. Even with floor fans running, it was uncomfortably hot. Parking is limited as well, though we lucked out with a good spot.

All in all, our total wait time — from arrival to receiving food — was about an hour, which aligns with what other reviews on Google mention. Despite the minor inconveniences, I’d definitely return, especially to try the sides I missed out on. Hoping the online ordering works next time to skip the long wait!

Everything was great! The mac and cheese was creamy, and the beans were the best, perfectly spiced with plenty of meat. I ordered the ribs, brisket, pork belly, and a hot link. The pork belly was incredibly tasty and just dissolved in my mouth. The brisket was soft, juicy, and perfectly smoked. The ribs and hot link were excellent as well. I’m definitely coming back! I recommend ordering through Instagram the day before for quick pickup.
