45 minutes to be served was a bit long considering it wasn't busy at all. Food was not very good. Potatoes were old and weird tasting (definitely not freshly prepared) omlette was ok. The blackened chicken had good flavor but was overcooked and very dry. My first time here and not at all impressed. Personally not my type of place and wont be returning

We went for breakfast. The salmon was nasty, very fishy taste and smell. Avocado piece was not ripe, hard slice. Bacon was thin and chewy like it was the pre-made microwave kind. French toast was not good at all, and 2 kinds we ordered. It left 2 of our group with stomach aches. I didn't eat my plate. $70 dollars wasted. The employees also didn't say anything to the lady that brought her little mutt who was in the stroller. A service animal I can see but this was a little yappy dog. My child has a severe dog allergy, that disgusting and very unsanitary. Really gross. Will not be recommending this place. Ever.

About four years ago we resumed our patronage of Mimi’s Cafei here in Fresno after a few times where we were disappointed with prior service. Amazingly the service turned out to be fabulous and later we found out it was the result of a new Customer Service Manager by the name of Shanda. She was so top notch that I had to write a letter to the owner/manager complimenting her amazing service. Since then we have increased our patronage by four times our previous visits. It’s hard to describe how completely Shanda has transformed the concept of what it means to provide superior customer service. As a reward Shanda has now been promoted to overall restaurant manager and next time you go there introduce yourself and wish her continued success. Sorry I can’t really recommend the wide variety of delicious entrees because I love the French Pot Roast so much I order it almost exclusively.
It’s always amazing to me how one person can make such a difference in the success of a business. Mimi’s Cafe is the place to go for great service, great food, and wonderful employees.

Wanted to share my experience yesterday. I had to put my beloved dog down that morning and we decided to go to Mimi’s to celebrate my Daisy’s life. Our server, Camille, asked how we were and explained what had happened. She was so sweet and caring and made us feel so much better. To top it off, she had let her supervisor, Shanden, know and she also was the sweetest! Visited our table right away and gave her condolences. ❤️❤️❤️
Honestly they went above and beyond and made my horrible day so much better!!! They were the BEST!!! Thank you both so much!

I haven't been here in a long time I have now been here twice in less than a month The food so far has been excellent and it is less trendy than it used to be so the crowd is not huge but you can see that they care about what they do and the food is excellent quality what I continue to come back as long as it doesn't get too busy it is kind of on the small side but the service was really good I haven't given four star service in a while The atmosphere is also four star it's a little dated but there was a cool room off to the side that they took us to and it had a great vibe kind of like being out on the patio without being out on the patio very enjoyable atmosphere!
Mimi's never lets us down. We went for Breakfast around Christmas. They were very busy but the service was great. Food was fantastic and made to order; the pumpkin muffin was amazing. Would recommend.

This place is a dumpster fire, 1 waitress on for the whole restaurant and the busser threw out my food when I went to the bathroom. Did the restaurant do anything about it, nope had to pay full price. Avoid this trash restaurant at all costs…
